Splatoon 3 Splatfest Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Original (4/14): To celebrate next month’s launch of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a special Splatfest will be held in Splatoon 3. Players are being asked whether they’d side with power, wisdom, or courage.

Something that’s been teased as part of the event is a special Tricolor Turf War stage in the Scorch Gorge with “unusual, triangular geometry” – obviously a nod to the Triforce from Zelda. You can get a closer look below.

Splatoon 3 update 3.1.1

Nintendo has prepared another update for Splatoon 3, with the game moving up to version 3.1.1.

This patch isn’t as huge as some of the more recent ones we’ve seen, but it’s still pretty noteworthy. Nintendo added in data for future Splatfests and made some visual adjustments to the events. Also, a few fixes are included.

Splatoon 3 - C-Side - Clickbait recording

Original (2/14): Splatoon is known for its original music, and that was once again the case with Splatoon 3 and the new band C-Side introduced for the game. Nintendo has now shown off the recording of “Clickbait”, the shooter’s signature track.

Nintendo previously introduced C-Side as a three-piece band out of the the Splatlands. Even with a lack of music education training and growing up without privilege, their innate talent and ambition catapulted them to stardom.

Splatoon 3 Splatfest 5 results Nessie Aliens Bigfoot

Splatoon 3 held its fifth Splatfest this week, and the results are now in for the Nessie vs. Aliens vs. Bigfoot battle. Players were asked to side with the creature they believe is real.

We were given a look at how things were going at halftime yesterday. It was pretty close, but Team Nessie held the lead with 34.92 percent. Team Aliens followed with 32.64 percent, and Team Bigfoot was just behind that with 32.44 percent.

Original (3/16): A new Splatfest centered around controversial creatures has just been announced for Splatoon 3. The event will be held from April 1 to April 3.

The Splatfest theme will make players pick which controversial creature they believe in, with players able to choose between Nessie, Aliens, and Bigfoot.

Splatoon 3 update 3.1.0

Nintendo just announced a new version 3.1.0 update for Splatoon 3, and this is another big one. It will go live tomorrow, March 30.

Various changes have been made to Splatfests, weapons, and more. A ton of bug fixes have been implemented as well. The next big update is planned for the end of the current season, which “will focus primarily on balance adjustments and adding features for the new season starting in June.”

Splatoon 3 Liquid Sunshine

A new Splatoon 3 track is on the way from the Squid Sisters and Splatsville songster Ian BGM, Nintendo has announced. This battle theme can be heard during the upcoming Splatfest.

Don’t have the recently-released Expansion Pass for the game? That’s not a problem. Nintendo says that all players will still be able to listen to the new song.

Splatoon 3 Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today Squid Sisters

Nintendo has announced that a new Splatoon 3 song from the Squid Sisters, titled ‘Tomorrow’s Nostalgia Today’, is set to debut soon. This can be heard during the second half of the upcoming Splatfest.

Additionally, a previous Splatfest tune has been remixed as City of Color (2023). The Squid Sisters will be performing it in Inkopolis during Splatfests as well.

Splatoon 3 update 3.0.1

Nintendo has issued a new update for Splatoon 3, bringing the game to version 3.0.1.

This time around, a single fix is included. Going forward players should no longer experience an issue involving friend notifications.

Nintendo has announced a massive 3.0.0 update for Splatoon 3 which is going live imminently. This should be available on February 27 in North America and February 28 in Europe.

A big update was expected around the start of the Expansion Pass and new season, and that’s a big component of the update. There’s a ton of new content, features, changes, and bug fixes planned. Some of the highlights include the Fresh Season 2023 items, Pool feature, Horrorboros in Salmon Run, jukebox in the lobby, and Splatfest adjustments.
