Original (8/17): Splatoon 3 has unveiled the Drizzle Season as its next major event, and new amiibo for Deep Cut have been revealed.
Drizzle Season will introduce new content as usual. Players can expect Crableg Capital and Shipstage Cargo Co. as new stages. For Salmon Run, Salmonid Smokeyard is making a return and there’ll be new Slopsuits. That’s along with the Dread Wringer and Heavy Edit Splatling weapons, new Tableturf battle cards, and new challenges: Inkjets for Everyone, Swim It to Win It, and Modded Rainmaker Test-Fire.

Splatoon 3 will release a new version 5.1.0 update this week, Nintendo has announced. It should go live on October 17 in North America and October 18 in Europe.
The update adds special Splatfest data for and Splatoween and makes multiplayer tweaks. Also worth noting, the Mahi-Mahi Resort has been changed in all modes. A bunch of bugs have been fixed as well.
Nintendo also confirms that the next update will be released around the middle of November, which will add support for the Deep Cut amiibo. We’ll keep you posted on the patch notes.

Splatoon 3 is set to receive another update today with the game moving up to version 5.0.1. Nintendo has already issued the patch notes.
The update adds an Off the Hook banner for those who purchase DLC content. It also includes an adjustment and several fixes.

Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass – Side Order DLC launches Spring 2024

An update was shared today on the next Splatoon 3 DLC, with Nintendo offering up a release date for Side Order. Wave 2 of the Expansion Pass, which will have players strengthening their character’s abilities as they ascend the Spire’s floors again and again, arrives in Spring 2024.
Side Order is the bigger portion of the Expansion Pass as it includes a brand new single-player campaign. Players can see what’s become of Inkopolis Square, the central area featured in Splatoon 2.

Splatoon 3 – Splatfest #9 results – Shiver vs. Frye vs. Big Man

Splatoon 3 celebrated its first anniversary this weekend with a special Splatfest, and we now have the results from the Shiver vs. Frye vs. Big Man event.
The halftime report showed that things were extremely close. Shiver was in the lead, but you could almost say it was a three-way tie. It was 33.80% for Team Shiver, 33.11% for Team Frye, and 33.09% for Team Big Man.

Nintendo just delivered the full, massive patch notes for the Splatoon 3 version 5.0.0 update.
The update will accompany Drizzle Season 2023, which will include new content and features. That means a new catalog, new stages, new weapons’, and more. You can read a bunch more about it here.
Outside of content, many changes are planned to multiplayer Splatfests, and more. Expect a bunch of bug fixes as well.

Splatoon 3 – Splatfest #8 results – Money vs. Fame vs. Love

Nintendo has just revealed the final Splatoon 3 Splatfest results for the Money vs. Fame vs. Love event.
If you happened to check out the halftime report, you should have seen that Team Love had the lead – but barely. Team Love was at 33.85 percent, but Team Money had 33.32 percent, and Team Fame was just behind at 32.83 percent.

Splatoon 3 announces priorities-themed Splatfest

Nintendo has shared details on the next Splatfest for Splatoon 3. This time around, it’s asking something a little more thought-provoking than usual.
Nintendo is asking players to consider what is most important to them of three things: the money, the fame, or the love? Players will be able to weigh in from August 12 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET to August 14 at the same time.

Nintendo has announced another big update for Splatoon 3, with the game expected to move up to version 4.1.0. Per usual, we have the patch notes as well.
Once again, many adjustments are planned for weapons, sub weapons, and special weapons. Another slew of bug fixes are coming as well.
Note that players can look forward to the next update at the end of the current season, with Nintendo largely focusing on more weapon balance adjustments and adding features for the new season beginning in September.

Splatoon 3 – Splatfest #7 results – Vanilla vs. Strawberry, vs. Mint Chip Ice Cream

Another Splatfest for Splatoon 3 is in the books and the results are in for the ice cream event which had vanilla, strawberry, and mint chip battling it out for supremacy.
The halftime report from Nintendo showed that Team Vanilla had the slimmest of leads at 33.94 percent. Team Mint was in second with 33.40 percent, followed by Team Strawberry with 32.66 percent.
