The Gold Goombas Mega event has returned to Super Mario Run. Players will be able to earn special prizes by bouncing off Gold Goombas and earning stamps. The event will run until April 13.

Super Mario Run downloaded over 10 million times on Android

It took several months, though Super Mario Run finally reached Android devices last week. While revenue will be the most important factor, Nintendo should be pleased to hear that downloads have already surpassed the 10 million mark. The amount is sitting somewhere between 10 and 50 million at the moment.
Nintendo announced that Super Mario Run had been downloaded 40 million times on iOS in its first four days a few months ago. The last official figure on iOS was 78 million at the end of January.

The Gold Goombas Mega Event in Super Mario Run is coming back later this week. Gold Goombas will appear in World Tour, and defeating them will provide extra coins. And if you defeat many of them, “something even better could happen”.
You can participate in the Gold Goombas Mega Event between March 30 at 3:00 and April 13 at 2:59.

Super Mario Run’s revenue “did not meet our expectations,” Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima told Asia Nikkei. However, don’t expect the company to ditch the pay-once-and-play model, despite the success of Fire Emblem Heroes.
One senior company official at Nintendo said that “Heroes is an outlier.” This person also mentioned, “We honestly prefer the Super Mario Run model.”

Super Mario Run: Daily log-in bonus available for two weeks

Super Mario Run has finally launched on Android and has received various updates and new features on iOS as well. In addition to that, a special daily log-in bonus for two weeks, starting today. If you log in to Super Mario Run at least once per day, you will receive presents such as Toad Rally tickets and coins.

Nintendo has sent out a few more details about what to expect from Super Mario Run version 2.0.0.
Once the new update is applied, players will see “A Challenge from Bowser”. Completing it will allow you to take on World 1-4 without having to pay. Then by finishing that level, new courses will be added in Toad Rally, plus Blue and Green Toads will also come to cheer in the free version. More items will be added to Kingdom Builder such as the Blue Yoshi home to unlock Blue Yoshi.
Super Mario Run version 2.0.0 launches on March 23 alongside the Android release.

Super Mario Run getting new Yoshi colors

Nintendo began to tease Super Mario Run’s big 2.0.0 update a couple of days ago. In the first information batch, it was confirmed that new playable characters would be added.
We’re not sure if this is all, but Nintendo has announced that new Yoshi colors are incoming. Along with the usual green color, red, blue, yellow, and purple will be the alternates. Nintendo also points out that it will be easier to collect Toads of the same Yoshi color currently being used in Toad Rally.
Super Mario Run’s new update arrives on March 23. The game is hitting Android on the same day.

Super Mario Run is heading to Android on March 23. On the same day, Nintendo will also come out with a major update for the game. Players can look forward to version 2.0.0.
The new update “will introduce some new features”. A notice in the app teases new characters to play as along with the ability to unlock World 1-4 in the free version of the game by completing one of Bowser’s challenges.
Nintendo says that there’s more to the update than what’s been announced, but we’ll need to wait for additional details.
