Today, publisher Thunderful and developer Brainwash Gang revealed Laika: Aged Through Blood. We’ll be seeing it on Switch in the future.

Cursed to Golf getting a physical release on Switch

If you’ve been holding out on a physical version of Cursed to Golf, you’ll be happy to hear that this is now happening. Limited Run Games confirmed today that it will produce a boxed release.
Note that only a standard version will be available. There are no plans for any special editions.
Cursed to Golf originally arrived on Switch last August. Up until now, it’s only been sold as an eShop download.

Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine out on Switch this month, new trailer

Thunderful, Headup, and Team Meat today shared the release date for Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine. The game launches on June 22, 2023, the three sides announced.
The match-4 puzzler was first announced back in March. We most recently had a general 2023 launch window for the game.
Swordship 1.1 update adds Arranged Mode and much more

The dodge ’em up game Swordship just went live with a new version 1.1 update featuring an Arranged Mode and more.
Arranged Mode has situations that stay the same for a full week around the world. All enemies, upgrades, levels, weather, obstacles, boss patterns keep their position and timing to be fully optimized.
The update also reworks the progression system and a tracker will now display everything that has yet to be unlocked. The classic score based unlocks are now supported by brand new persistent objectives.

Wavetale getting a physical release on Switch

Wavetale, which initially came to Switch as an eShop download, is now set to receive the physical treatment. Super Rare Games is in charge of production.
4,000 copies will be printed, split between 2,000 standard editions and 2,000 steelbook editions. The standard release comes with all current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards while. The steelbook edition includes everything we just mentioned plus the steelbook case, a slipcover and a postcard.

LEGO Bricktales Easter update announced

Original (2/28): LEGO Bricktales is getting a brand new Easter update, Thunderful has announced.
The update includes a new story set in a small Easter world. After players clear the first world, it can be accessed for free. An entrance will appear in the park leading them to the new diorama where they’ll meet the friendly Easter bunny who has a problem with making eggs for this year’s Easter celebration. Quick thinking and puzzle-solving will be needed as disgruntled chickens and snow damage keep them from reaching their goals.

Thunderful today unveiled SteamWorld Build, “a multi-level city-building experience that tasks you with constructing a thriving town above ground, while mining resources and dealing with monsters below.” It will debut on Switch later in 2023.

Original (1/16): Thunderful will be sharing news about the SteamWorld series this week (update: SteamWorld Telegraph Special Broadcast, see below), according to a new teaser.
The video below was posted on YouTube and social media today. It’s only a few seconds long with Morse code, but the message indicates that something will be happening on January 18.

Super Rare Games, in partnership with publisher Thunderful and developer Carry Castle, confirmed today that it will soon offer Source of Madness as a physical release on Switch.
The game will be offered standalone as well as in the form of a Steelbook Edition, each one limited to 2,000 copies. The standard release includes all the current content on their cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. The Steelbook edition features everything we just mentioned as well as a special case.
