F.I.S.T. Forged In Shadow Torch

Today, bilibili and Astrolabe Games announced that they’re working together to put TiGame’s 2.5D dieselpunk Metroidvania game F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch on Switch, and have set a final release date in the west. The game will be available in North America and Europe on July 12, 2022.

Here’s some information about F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch:

The Metroidvania F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch has received a release date for the upcoming Switch release. This is the Japanese release date, but it will be coming to the system on July 14, 2022. The game price is set at 3,828 yen (about $30), and there will be a physical edition.

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch previously released on September 7, 2021 for other systems, and the Switch version was announced recently. It has also been revealed that the game will be localized for the west and Switch physical editions will be coming to Europe and North America Q3 2022.

2D Metroidvania F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch was rated for Switch earlier this year, and publisher Microids has now confirmed that the game will be coming to Nintendo’s console in Q3 of this year with a physical release. The game, developed by TiGames and published by bilibili, was released on Steam and Epic Games Store last year, and digitally on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, which will also be getting retail versions of the game alongside the Switch.

It seems like publisher Bilibili and developer TiGames’ game F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch may be coming to Switch. The 2D Metroidvania released last year on PS consoles and PC, but a Switch rating for the game has just popped up on the Taiwanese ratings board (first spotted by Gematsu):

This could mean a release of the game is planned for Switch relatively soon, although there’s been no official word on it. For now, we’ll wait and see if an official announcement pops up.
