After experimenting some problems with the HD Rumble, Snake Pass has been updated on Switch to version 1.1. This patch should fix the loud rumble issue that we reported before. We’re also hearing that the visuals may have been improved, but we can’t verify that just yet.

A new system update for the Wii U has been released. The download will fix issues that some users were having with uploading highlight reels from Mario Kart 8 to YouTube. As usual, the update will also “improve system stability” and “enhance the user experience”.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’s first update is now available for download from the 3DS eShop. The update is also available in Europe despite the game not being out there yet, so those looking to pick up the game can pre-load the patch. It should come as no surprise, but no official changelog has been released. We’ll keep you updated if anything surfaces!

Mario Kart ‘s first big DLC release is upon us and is available for download in all regions. The update comes in at 221MB and while the full change log is not available yet, we know that it grants access to the first DLC pack (once purchased) as well as adding amiibo support. For those downloading the DLC, it’s an additional 687MB

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will be receiving yet another update, though it appears this one will be a bit more significant than what we’ve previously seen. Nintendo will be including some ‘balance fixes’ and while they haven’t detailed specifically what that means, those that have version 1.0.3 or earlier will not be able to challenge those on 1.0.4 once they’ve updated.

A new update for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is now available, though going by the released changelog for the patch the changes seem relatively minor. The update comes in at 762 blocks and hides Conquest Mode results during an event so players can’t see what side is currently winning, as well as adding a number of ‘various fixes’. If this ends up amounting to anything more than stability and minor adjustments we’ll update the post accordingly!

It looks like retail version of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will require a day-1 patch adding an additional feature to the game. The patch adds a new mode to online play called Conquest mode, which occasionally will trigger during a game and adds additional weight to the result of said match. Winning will add points to a tally that certain characters, and at the end of a certain period those points will be tallied and players associated with the winning character receive a prize.
