Despite Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, it sounds like Xbox will still be supporting its franchises on Switch.

Some have been concerned about what would happen to Activision Blizzard games on competing platforms. However, Microsoft has said that it will continue to release Call of Duty games on PlayStation consoles, and is “interested in taking similar steps to support Nintendo’s successful platform.”

A big 1.18.10 update has landed in Minecraft. It includes lots of fixes and quality of life changes including the addition of a Globe Banner Pattern, Iron Golems that now show different degrees of cracking depending on their health, texture updates to match Java Edition, new experimental features with Frogs and Tadpoles, and more.

Minecraft Dungeons Cloudy Climb

Seasons are coming to Minecraft Dungeons, and the first one is set to take place next month. Cloudy Climb will go live on December 14, Mojang Studios announced today.

Cloudy Climb will be made available in Minecraft Dungeons as part of a free update. It will come with “new, free content that includes an all-new progression system, weekly challenges, and a looming tower that – whether you like it or not – loves to rearrange itself whenever it gets an opportunity.” This tower is also where players can test their skills and obtain Adventure Points.

Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Part II release date

Mojang Studios has set a release date for the next big Minecraft update, Caves & Cliffs Part II. All players on Switch can download the patch starting on November 30.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, Minecraft has revealed new DLC based on the Magic Kingdom that has been recreated in the game. Switch owners can pick up the content starting today.

The DLC features attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and “it’s a small world”, 29 iconic Disney and Pixar characters to meet, and even a fireworks show. Players will receive a ton of different skins and special in-game merchandise. The lineup includes a set of iconic Mickey & Minnie Mouse ears as character creator items, along with a bunch of other festive gear such as Elsa’s dress, a pirate hook, and Woody’s hat.

Minecraft Dungeons update 1.11.1.0

Mojang Studios has issued a new 1.11.1.0 update for Minecraft Dungeons. The main highlight is adding support for the Spookier Fall 2021 event, but also includes changes and fixes.
