All 3 Toadofsky Melodies in Super Mario RPG
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
We’ve found all three NPCs and gathered their locations right here, plus the notes you need to play each of the Toadofsky melodies in Super Mario RPG.
Super Mario RPG just dropped for Switch, and one of the first areas you’ll come across in the game is Tadpole Pond. Initially, you’re sent there on a mission to visit the Frog Sage – but there’s something else you can do there, too. Head east from the entrance and you’ll find Toadofsky, a composer looking for inspiration. Throughout Super Mario RPG, there are specific NPCs who teach you a song you can then play for Toadofsky. Unfortunately, you can’t play these songs early – you must talk to each corresponding NPC for Toadofsky to recognize the tune at all.

Either way, you might be wondering how to grind extra experience points and which characters’ stats you should increase when they do level up. We’ve gathered all this information and more in our Super Mario RPG level up guide. There are light spoilers ahead, including a small reference to the game’s final area and all of the game’s party members, but nothing else too major. Keep that in mind before you continue.

To celebrate the recent launch of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, we’ve put together a big list of all the unlockables it has to offer (which isn’t very many, but still). The game just wrapped up its Booster Course Pass, which brings its ten-year lifespan to a close… maybe. Despite its age, the title is still selling boatloads of copies, which means new players are discovering the game every day.

Super Mario RPG: how long to beat
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
With the new remake of Super Mario RPG on the horizon, we’ve written an estimate on the game’s length and how long the main story will take to beat.
The original version is (somehow) over 25 years old. Hence its name, it was also the first RPG in the entire Mario franchise. That means it’s also a little bit longer than your average Mario game. It’s now receiving a full remake for Switch, and it’s due out on November 17. Given Super Mario RPG’s trailers, screenshots, and early marketing materials, the main story is largely unchanged compared to the original version on the SNES.

How to beat the Final-Final Test: Badge Marathon in Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Today, we’ll be going over the best way to tackle each section – as well as something very simple you can do to make the Final-Final Test: Badge Marathon in Super Mario Bros. Wonder so much easier. If you’re ready to beat the challenge once and for all, then let’s get started.
For the most part, Super Mario Bros. Wonder’s levels – while fun – aren’t particularly difficult. That all changes when you reach the game’s final level, which is one of the toughest stages in the entire series. It’s a true test of skill and endurance, as it consists of multiple sections and multiple checkpoints throughout.

Search Party Puzzling Park Coin locations in Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Since Puzzling Park is more difficult than the average stage in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, we’ve written up a guide on where to find all five flower tokens. Most of Super Mario Bros. Wonder’s stages are pretty easy, but then there are the Search Party stages, which take a surprisingly long time to complete in comparison. That’s because these stages sort of require the presence of four players: there are hidden blocks everywhere and most of them are rather difficult to find.

Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
As with all side-scrolling Mario games, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is home to a few particularly tricky secret exits and we have a guide listing every one of them. Most of the time, they lead to an alternate path on the world map containing more levels or even a hidden Captain Toad location. We’ve compiled a full list of all the secret exits, how to find them, and what lies beyond. Let’s-a-go!

All Captain Toad locations in Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Captain Toad plays a particularly helpful role in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and as such, we’ll fill you in on all of his locations. He’s hidden in five different spots around the world map, and when you find him, he gives you lots of Flower Coins. If you need a bunch of Flower Coins to purchase some badges or standees, it’s a good idea to seek out Captain Toad to receive some for free.
As mentioned, there are only five different Captain Toad locations. It’s important to note that you can only receive Flower Coins from Captain Toad the first time you speak to him at each of these locations. If you go back to see him, he won’t have anything else to give you.

Full list of all 24 Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Following the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, we’ve put together a new guide naming all Badges and their locations in the game.
You can use Badges one at a time, and it adds a new ability to your arsenal for as long as it’s equipped. You can swap them out before and after levels, so you’re able to tailor the abilities you want to fit the needs of the level you’re playing. Finding the Badges is actually the easy part: every single Badge except for one is purchased from a Poplin Shop or given to you throughout the story. We’ve managed to round up every single Badge, and you can find a list of each one’s functions below. We won’t discuss any final boss spoilers (nor any details about the final level), but we will discuss the final Badge’s function – if you’d rather keep that a surprise, bookmark this page and come back later!

How to 100 percent complete Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Today, we’re going over a detailed list of requirements in Super Mario Bros. Wonder for 100 percent completion. We won’t have any story or picture spoilers here, but we will briefly discuss the reward you receive for full completion – which some may view as being a little underwhelming.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder dropped just a few days ago, and many of its most dedicated players are already working on fully completing the game. Some of the later levels definitely get tough, but this actually isn’t as tall of an order as it sounds. If you complete every single level and collect all the goodies along the way, full 100 percent completion should take somewhere between 20 and 25 hours.
