Hamster has announced Galaga 88 will be the next outing for Arcade Archives on Switch. It will be available worldwide on April 27, 2023.

First released in 1987 by Namco (now Bandai Namco), Galaga 88 is a shooting game in which you are tasked with crossing dimensions to the planet Galaga to end the threat of the re-emerged Galaga Legion. The game is noteworthy for allowing you to combine three fighters to power-up.

The game will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Afterimage has released on Switch today, and 25 minutes of gameplay footage of the hand-drawn 2D action adventure title are available for viewing.

Developer PLiCy have announced that they will be bringing visual novel Dormitory Love to Switch digitally via the eShop. The title is due to launch worldwide next week on April 28. The visual novel is a romantic comedy which focuses on various foreign exchange students, and has seen positive reception in Japan since it launched in 2021 on PC.

Developer Mens Sana Interactive have announced that they will be bringing Pathfinders: Memories to Switch digitally via the eShop on May 5. The title is a puzzle game that tests the player’s visual memory across a variety of locations with the goal of creating a museum of human history.

Titled “The Fleet Update”, this aims to address community feedback on gaming progression and management, and includes a variety of changes and fixes to the gameplay mechanics and systems to allow for smoother and more flexible progression. Additional changes have also been put in place to support future content-focused updates. No release date for the updated has been announced, but the full patch notes can be found below:

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from March 2023. Some of the highlighted titles include Have a Nice Death, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key.

Original (3/16): A new Splatfest centered around controversial creatures has just been announced for Splatoon 3. The event will be held from April 1 to April 3.

The Splatfest theme will make players pick which controversial creature they believe in, with players able to choose between Nessie, Aliens, and Bigfoot.
