Fire Emblem: Awakening’s first downloadable content will be free for the first month of availability. Nintendo delivered a SpotPass notification stating that the “Champions of Yore 1” DLC will be available at no cost until March 6. After this date, it’ll cost $2.50.


Capcom is continuing to highlight creatures from Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. The latest, Nibelsnarf, is a Leviathan in the game.

Runner 2 developer Gaijin Games confirmed on its blog today that it has submitted the game to Nintendo. The team initially encountered “a bug that we absolutely couldn’t ship with.” While the fix wasn’t easy, Gaijin eventually “uploaded to Nintendo with confidence”.

Last we heard, Runner 2 should be out on the Wii U eShop this spring. It’s likely coming sooner rather than later given how the title has already been submitted.

Amazon is selling Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper for once of the cheapest prices we’ve seen yet. Currently, consumers can purchase the Wii U game for $29.99. Most retailers have been selling Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper for $59.99.

Costco is currently selling both Wii U models are a fairly significant discount. Consumers can purchase the Deluxe Set for $299.97 or the Basic Set for $244.97. You’d be saving around $50 with either model.



EA is planning on launching its next Madden NFL game on August 27. Based on a new post on the franchise’s official website, it could be seeing a small name change.

As pictured above, the graphic posted on Madden’s site indicates that the upcoming release may be called “Madden 25”. The football series is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

EA has traditionally labeled its Madden games according to the year of release. In 2012, for instance, Madden went by the title “Madden NFL 13”.

We’ll likely be receiving additional information during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
