Earlier this week, it was revealed that Shin’en would be bringing yet another WiiWare title to the eShop. Art of Balance Touch! will be hitting the European eShop in Q2 2012.

Like Shin’en’s other WiiWare to eShop conversions, Art of Balance Touch! will include some new elements. Thus far the studio has confirmed new levels, new music, and a new game mode. The graphics are being touched up. Additionally, players will be able to change the controls.

That’s all we know of for now. Shin’en will surely share more information over the next few months.

One fan has managed to connect get a PS1 controller working with the 3DS. Having not tried it myself, I can’t say if it’s any better than using the Circle Pad Pro. It’s an interesting idea nonetheless!

GameStop is sweetening the deal for consumers who pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles. Those who are willing to dish out a few bucks early will receive an art book when the game releases in April.

It doesn’t look like the offer applies to Nintendo’s online store, so you’ll have to pre-order at GameStop if you want the bonus.

As was the case with the escapeVektor releases on WiiWare, the 3DS version will be downloadable. Nnooo said they’ll combine the chapters from the Wii Shop Channel and place the package on the eShop rather than store shelves.

The studio also stated that they are finished adding new escapeVektor content to the Wii Shop Channel.

A company representative said:

“We’re moving the whole escapeVektor story across to the Nintendo 3DS & PlayStation Vita so there won’t be any more chapters released on WiiWare. The 3DS/Vita versions will be digital downloads.”

Square Enix is working on a second demo for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. It will be available sometime soon in Japan.

It isn’t entirely clear what will be included in the download. However, Japanese magazine Jump refers to the demo as “Demo + AR Vol.1 – Crystal Maiden Volume”, so you can probably expect more augmented reality action and gameplay with the 17-year-old Crystal Maiden Anies.
