Although the Circle Pad Pro will be available alongside Resident Evil: Revelations in February, there are no plans to offer any sort of bundle for the two products. Capcom confirmed the news last week.

If you ask me, offering a bundle would have been a smart move. In addition to possibly boosting Revelations’ sales (we’ve seen Nintendo peripherals fly off store shelves before), Nintendo would also show that they’re open to collaborating with third-parties in different ways.

Earlier today, we posted the review scores from the latest Nintendo Power. Rayman Origins was the highest-scoring title of the month, earning a 9.5/10. Heck, it even beat out Super Mario 3D Land!

Most fans have been appreciating Rayman Origins’ beautiful art style, though that’s not the only element Nintendo Power enjoyed. The magazine also praised the title’s soundtrack, fluid gameplay, pacing, multiplayer, and more. The reviewer even said that it’s the “Best Rayman game ever made” and called it a “platforming masterpiece.”

Here’s a summary of the positive points included within the review:

+Beautiful art
+Inspired soundtrack that amplifies the manic atmosphere
+Nothing plain or boring
+Extremely fluid
+Some of the “tightest” level design in the reviewers’ 26 year experience with platformers

Last year, XGen Studios and Amanita Design announced that Machinarium would be coming to WiiWare. We haven’t heard about the game since then… and here’s why: the game isn’t coming to the service any longer.

In a new interview, Amanita founder Jakub Dvorský critized the Wii in general for its low resolution and the WiiWare file size limit. I’m sure that the developers were having a tough time squeezing their title into the 40MB restriction.

Dvorský said:

“We don’t like Wii because the resolution is so low and there is a size limit on WiiWare of 40MB, which is so low for nowadays. It’s crazy.”

On the bright side, there’s a strong chance that Samorost 3 will be considered for Wii U:

“Of course we want to bring it to as many platforms as possible. Definitely PC, Mac and tablets – iPad and Android tablets. And hopefully also some bigger consoles. We are in contact with Sony. They are interested, so we want to bring it to PlayStation. We’re also interested in Xbox. Nintendo Wii U looks promising because it will be a powerful machine and that’s what we want.”
