Evidence points to Black Ops 2 this year

I know a new Call of Duty is coming. You know a new Call of Duty is coming. Activision does, too, but they’re not willing to specifically say what they’re working on just yet.
However, it’s looking more and more likely that the company’s Call of Duty title for 2012 will be Black Ops 2.
Amazon France added an entry for Black Ops 2 recently, but after it caught some attention, the retailer took it down. Seems pretty fishy, don’t you think?
Additionally, Joystiq discovered a listing for the title on the LinkedIn profile of Nerve Software employee Hugo Beyer earlier today. As you would expect, the page has since been removed.
Also remember that Activision registered the blackops2.com domain earlier this year.
So, Black Ops 2 it is then. Right?
EDGE: Monster Hunter Tri G hitting Europe this year, TBA for North America

This is an encouraging sign, but… My rule of thumb is not to get excited until a company confirms a rumor. There have been plenty of instances in which one (or more) publication has reported on something, and then everyone gets disappointed when they find out that the speculation was incorrect.
I would be surprised if Tri G stayed in Japan, though let’s just wait and see how this rumor plays out.

Sakaguchi is tired of discussing Final Fantasy
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
It’s been a long time since Hironobu Sakaguchi worked on Final Fantasy. Still, even today, he’s always asked about the series.
That’s understandable given how much of an impact he’s had on the IP, but at this point, he’s “really tired of talking about it.”
Sakaguchi said the following when asked if he’s sick of being asked questions about Final Fantasy:
“I’ve had six interviews today and I’ve never had so many questions about Final Fantasy. So yes, I’m really tired of talking about it.”
