ATLUS RETURNS FROM A TERRIBLE FUTURE WITHOUT RADIANT HISTORIA, TIME-TRAVEL RPG FOR NINTENDO DS, WITH NEWS OF NORTH AMERICAN RELEASE IN FEBRUARY 2011
Gonna go back (and forward) in time.
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA — NOVEMBER 22, 2010 — Atlus U.S.A., Inc., recently returned from an expedition into the future, today announced a North American release for Radiant Historia, a new internally-developed time-travel RPG for Nintendo DS. Channeling the heart and soul of fan favorite 16-bit RPG classics, Radiant Historia combines a unique position-based battle system, intricate hand-drawn details, and one of the best soundtracks in recent memory as it takes gamers on a steampunk adventure back and forth through time.
“We’ve seen a future without a North American localization of Radiant Historia,” warned a stern Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales. “That future was depressing and noticeably lacking in the ‘epic handheld RPG’ category. Knowing what that tomorrow would be like, we’re excited to release Radiant Historia for Nintendo DS in February 2011. The game Donkey Kong Country™ Returns is now available exclusively for the Wii™ system, giving new and experienced players a wild new way to get acquainted with the legendary Donkey Kong™. Combining imaginative new features and dynamic motion controls with classic elements from the original Donkey Kong Country games for Super NES™, this side-scrolling jungle adventure also marks the first time in the series that friends can play together in a cooperative two-player mode.
Donkey Kong Country Returns takes place on scenic Donkey Kong Island, where the mischievous Tiki Tak Tribe has plundered Donkey Kong’s banana stash. Players use either the Wii Remote™ and Nunchuk™ controllers or a single Wii Remote held horizontally to maneuver the famous ape as he runs, jumps and climbs on a quest to recover the stolen bananas. Nintendo News: Nintendo Adds Color to Black Friday with Orange, Green Nintendo DSi Bundles

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Nintendo is giving Black Friday a splash of color with two new bundles for its hot-selling Nintendo DSi™ system. For the first time, shoppers can choose an orange or green system, which will be bundled with the Mario Party™ DS game. The new colors go on sale on Nov. 26 and will be available while supplies last at a suggested retail price of $149.99.
These new colors join Nintendo’s other great value bundles for the holidays that are being released in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros.™ game on the NES™. These include the limited-edition red Nintendo DSi XL™ bundle, which features a red Nintendo DSi XL system with three iconic Super Mario Bros.-themed graphics, the Mario Kart™ DS game, and preloaded software titles including Brain Age™ Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock at a suggested retail price of $179.99. Cambridge, Mass. – Nov. 19, 2010 – Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that John Lennon’s masterful album, Imagine, including a track with Pro Guitar and Pro Bass, will be available Nov. 23 in the Rock Band 3 Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.
“The songs on John Lennon’s Imagine run the gamut from beautiful piano-driven ballads like ‘Jealous Guy’ to all-out guitar rockers like ‘Gimme Some Truth’,” said Paul DeGooyer, senior vice president of electronic games, music and programming for MTV Networks. “It’s an incredible musical statement, and a real workout on keyboard, guitar and vocals in Rock Band 3. We’re very excited to be able to bring this masterpiece to Rock Band fans.”
Rock Band provides the deepest and best selection of artists, songs and albums through the Rock Band music platform, which features more than 800 artists and more than 2,000* tracks via disc and download purchase (complete list of tracks at www.rockband.com/songs). Rock Band DLC Additions for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 system and Wii
John Lennon released his second solo album, Imagine, in 1971. The album went to No. 1 worldwide, and the title track, “Imagine,” which is on the Rock Band 3 on-disc soundtrack, reached No. 3 in the U.S. and No. 1 in the UK. This warm album, showcasing Lennon’s superior piano playing, is No. 76 in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time and features musical contributions from King Curtis, George Harrison and Phil Spector, among many others. Next week, the album will be available for download and play in Rock Band 3.
As always, songs available for downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable.
