Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX

Yacht Club Games just unveiled Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX, a new version of the original game. The studio didn’t confirm launch timing.

Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX is the same game fans came to love, but it’s now been enhanced. The game adds new playable characters, online multiplayer, rewind and save states, and cheats.

Shovel Knight Dig Wicked Wishes

Yacht Club Games today provided an update on Shovel Knight Dig, revealing new DLC for the game in the form of Wicked Wishes. The DLC launches this summer.

Wicked Wishes includes new challenges, missions, mini-games, secret locations, and more. There’s also been a rebalance to the algorithm, fixes, and other aspects.

Garten of Bantan I, II, III, and IV

May 30: Feardemic continues its run of horror games on Switch, and has now announced Garten of Bantan I, II, III, and IV for the console. There’s no release date yet, but they’ll be arriving soon.

Garten of Bantan I, II, III, and IV are a series of horror adventure games made by Euphoric Brothers. We have more information about the set below.

Tavern Talk release date

Tavern Talk has secured a release date on Switch. As announced by developer Gentle Troll, it’ll be ready to go on June 20, 2024.

The visual novel was previously confirmed for Switch after a successful Kickstarter campaign last year. Gentle Troll ended up hitting its target of a 2024 launch, and now the title is only a few days away.

Monster Hunter Stories launch trailer

To promote the launch on new platforms such as Switch, Capcom readied a new launch trailer. The title returns several years after it originally appeared on 3DS.

Minecraft Tricky Trials update

May 30: The Minecraft 15th anniversary festivities continues, and it’s now been revealed that the major “Tricky Trials” update is coming next month. Players can get their hands on it starting June 13, 2024.

There’ll be a lot of new content to try out when the update launches in just a couple of weeks. Mojang Studios is adding trial chambers as a new structure, the breeze and the bogged mobs, the vault block, mace weapon, and more.

Aloy Horizon Smash Bros

Now that a Nintendo console is getting a game in PlayStation’s Horizon series, that’s leading some to think about whether we could see Aloy – the leading hero of the franchise – in a Smash Bros. entry. Guerrilla Games does at least appear to be interested in seeing that happen.
