A third round of Shin Megami Tensei IV downloadable content has come to Japan. Players can purchase DLC that provides a new costume for the protagonist, who can dress as Asmodeus. Atlus has also introduced the “Breaking the Archangel Wings 1” mission.

The new mission tasks players in taking on the four archangels, but only two of them are in the mission. Once the two are defeated, you can add them to your party through fusion. It won’t be easy – a powerful party will be needed to beat them.

Breaking the Archangel Wings 1 is priced at 250 yen. The Demon Skin costume pack is available for 200 yen.

Atlus will release Breaking the Archangel Wings 2 next next week.

Activision has announced its lineup for E3 2013.

The publisher intends to highlight three games at the expo this year: Call of Duty: Ghosts, Skylanders: Swap Force, an Destiny. The first two will be playable; the latter will not.

Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said:

“This is obviously a big year – not just for Activision, but for the entire industry. There’s a console transition coming and naturally, everyone wants to see what new possibilities that will unleash in the games. We remain laser focused on delivering the things we know our gamers care about most: great gameplay, immersive worlds, and cool innovations. And that’s what our amazing lineup at E3 this year will deliver.”

The June 16 episode of Pokemon Smash will be a “Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Special”. Game Freak director Junichi Masuda is confirmed for an appearance.

This episode follows Pokemon X/Y’s presence at E3 2013, as well as CoroCoro’s monthly magazine on June 15. There’s a good chance that Pokemon Smash will be presenting much of the same information offered through these two sources.

E3 2007 was heavily lacking in new announcements. It was quite the downturn compared to E3 2006 – a show that impressed many.

One of Nintendo’s first announcements was the Wii Zapper. A few third-party games were promoted with the peripheral, including Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. Nintendo also teased a game of its own (Link’s Crossbow Training), that would be packed in with the Zapper.

Later in the show, Nintendo announced a release date for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but the game would eventually be delayed. Mario Kart Wii was also revealed, along with the Wii Wheel that would be bundled with the accessory.

Nintendo highlighted a few core titles during the conference: Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Super Mario Galaxy.

Nintendo closed things out with Wii Fit. It’s Wii Fit – not much else to say! But we did get Reggie’s famous “My body is ready” quote from his on-stage antics, at least.

Not too exciting. But if you thought this was disappointing, wait until we look back on the 2008 media briefing…

A new visitor will be awaiting 3DS owners in the StreetPass Mii Plaza. Nintendo sent out the official Mii for Satoru Iwata, who is wearing a Luigi hat and gold pants.

When visiting the StreetPass Mii Plaza, Iwata will tell you about the Nintendo Direct happening on Tuesday. His most recent software is Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon.

Iwata’s Mii also comes with a SpotPass message. It states:
