The block size for Bloo Kid 2 has now come in, for those curious about that sort of thing. It only requires 338 blocks, which is definitely on the small side.

Bloo Kid 2 is out tomorrow on the North American and European 3DS eShops.

We can add yet another game to this week’s North American Nintendo Download lineup. Johnny Dynamite, a puzzle/strategy game published by Enjoy Gaming, is due out tomorrow. Pricing is set at $4.99.

The next SEGA 3D Classic is launching next week, according to a listing on the eShop. 3D Thunder Blade should arrive on May 14 on $5.99. Given the release timing of previous SEGA 3D Classics, it’s likely coming out next Thursday in Europe as well.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Bloo Kid 2 is hitting the European 3DS eShop on Thursday. The same can now be said for North America.

Over on Twitter, developer winterworks confirmed that Bloo Kid 2 is due out in North America on May 7.

Like most projects, BoxBoy! underwent some changes throughout development. The core idea of “creating boxes in order to make your way through puzzle landscapes” remained the same, according to director Yasuhiro Mukae. But there were a couple of things that changed in the final game.

Originally, HAL Laboratory was planning on creating “large stages that you could really sit down and spend a great deal of time playing.” The team also added “story elements in a move to encourage players to enjoy the game all the way through to the end.”

Mukae told Engadget:
