A partial at next month’s CoroCoro teaser
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
The image above isn’t the complete teaser for next month’s CoroCoro, but it may hold a clue about a possible reveal.
As you can see, Pikachu, Virizion, Espeon, Umbreon and Axew’s 3D models are shown. There’s some conjecture that CoroCoro is hinting at a new game. That really is nothing more than speculation, and I don’t think that anything specifically points in that direction.
But hey, you never know.
We’ll find out in about a month. Next month’s CoroCoro will officially be available on October 15.

Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune has a few things in the works. He’s making King of Pirates, Soul Sacrifice, and J.J. Rockets for Mobage.
Believe it or not, Inafune has yet another project in development.
This week’s issue of Famitsu reveals that Inafune is making a zombie game titled “YAIBA”. The magazine doesn’t appear to list platforms, and further details beyond aren’t known as of yet. We’ll have to wait and see if additional information is included in Famitsu.
Parappa designer says Nintendo is trying to drive creativity; a lack thereof is consumers’ fault
Posted on 12 years ago by Austin(@NE_Austin) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
“I don’t find any lack of creativity in the game makers, but there is a lack of creativity in the game buyers. I think developers would like to make a wide range of interesting games, but they are difficult to sell, so they don’t get made. So it is a problem of economics. The question really becomes how to open up video gaming to a wider audience. Nintendo works on this question 24/7. Playstation and Xbox have little incentive to do that. The frontier right now is phones and tablets, but once again it comes down to the buyers.” – Rodney Greenblat, Parappa the Rapper/Major Minor’s Majestic March designer
I can’t tell you how long I’ve been saying this! There’s a very very good reason I stick with Nintendo consoles primarily, and it really comes down to who is being the most creative. I’d much rather have unique and interesting games that are mediocre than a bunch of great games that are monotone and uncreative!
He finished…
“What are people willing to pay for a game on a phone or tablet? Will these fees generate enough income for the publishers and developers? I hope so.”

Rumor: Nintendo Direct set for Europe this Thursday
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, Rumors | 0 comments
Nintendo of America will be holding a press conference in New York City this Thursday to reveal various Wii U launch details. It doesn’t sound like a media event is planned for Europe, but there could be a Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo’s Spanish division has supposedly confirmed that the broadcast will be streamed at 4 PM. NOE president Satoru Shibata may be hosting the presentation.
Gamereactor has strangely pulled its original article confirming the news. I’m not sure if that means some information slipped out a bit early, or if the entire story is fake. We’ll try to find out.
