Denpa Men 2 release on the horizon

The Denpa Men 2: Beyond the Waves is approaching its overseas launch. IGN editor Jeremy Parish reports on Twitter that the game is coming soon. He estimates that it could be hitting the 3DS eShop in just a couple of weeks.

More Nintendo maintenance early next week

Nintendo will be carrying out another round of maintenance on its online services next week.
On Monday, all of the company’s digital stores will be down between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM PT. That will be followed up on Tuesday with downtime for Pokemon Black/White and Pokemon Black/White 2.

3DS app (Japan) will let Animal Crossing and Tomodachi Collection players post screenshots to Twitter/Tumblr

According to Nintendo of Japan’s website, 3DS owners will soon be in for a pleasant new application that lets them post their Animal Crossing: New Leaf or Tomodachi Collection screenshots to Twitter or Tumblr via the 3DS internet browser. This would, in theory, allow for simultaneous posting of the image to other websites as well, and it should support the ability to add comments. The process (if reading-via-pictures is any indication) should go something like this:
– Take a screenshot in the game
– Open the internet browser from the Home Menu.
– Hit the “share” button and select either Tumblr or Twitter
– Choose the screenshot from your photos
– Post to the service you selected
