Liberation Maiden is getting some company on the Japanese 3DS eShop. Amzy is working on a new “dog fight action” title set for release this summer.

Aside from the screenshots posted above, Amzy hasn’t shared any additional media. Gameplay details are being kept under wraps for now.

A rough patch in Square Enix’s life as a game developer and publisher doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon. Today, the Final Fantasy studio has announced their plans to lay off more workers from their European branch, citing a desire to “ensure we have the right structure, content and skills for the changing entertainment landscape”.

No word on exactly how many people will be getting laid off or when it’ll happen, but the statement reads that they’ll keep us updated “when the time is right”.

Activision has kicked off teaser activities for its next Call of Duty game, which is expected to be Call of Duty: Ghosts. A newly launched website can be found here.

Those with a Facebook and/or Twitter account can partake in a social activity on the page. If you choose to participate, you’ll be added to an image that appears to be building toward something significant.

An official Call of Duty reveal is just a few days away based on recent findings – perhaps as early as May 1.
