Mega Man 6 hitting the Japanese eShop next week

Mega Man 6 will be hitting the Japanese eShop as a Famicom download on December 12. It will cost 400 yen through January 7 as part of the Mega Man 25th anniversary campaign and 500 yen after this date. Screenshots of the game can be found above.

Guitar Hero games pretty much used to be a yearly series. Year after year Activision would churn out new entries.
But in 2010, Guitar Hero came to a screeching halt. Warriors of Rock was the last release, and it doesn’t sound like Activision will be refreshing it anytime soon.
Interestingly, before Activision put the hammer down on Guitar Hero, Vicarious Visions was working on Guitar Hero 7. It was only midway through its development that the project was canned and Guitar Hero entered retirement.
Kotaku spoke with a source and corroborated rumored details about the title, which we’ve posted below.
3DS will be on sale at Best Buy this week

Both 3DS models will be on sale at Best Buy starting on Sunday. The original model will cost $129.99 while the 3DS XL will be priced at $159.99. A pink/white XL model will be available on the same day as well.

Since its inception, the Tales series has shipped over 15 million units. All games released since Tales of Phantasia hit store shelves in 1995.
