Switch eShop QuakeCon 2022 sale

In celebration of QuakeCon 2022, a new sale has gone live on the Switch eShop. Fans can save on a bunch of Doom games, Quake, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Wolfenstein titles.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Link on Horseback statue

First 4 Figures has revealed yet another statue based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this time featuring a pose of Link riding on horseback.

“His ensemble which includes his Champion’s Tunic and Hylian Trousers has been realistically textured in gorgeous detail, much like his steed and other elements of this intricate statue,” First 4 Figures says. “Link’s items such as the rucksack, Traveler’s Shield and most importantly, his Sheikah Slate, are also included in incredible detail.” Over on the base, it has stone symbols engraved along the side and vines wrapping around the stone.

Sonic Frontiers Gamescom 2022

SEGA announced its lineup for Gamescom 2022 today, which includes the first public hands-on opportunity for Sonic Frontiers.

The demo will let fans explore Starfall Island. It will not only be playable at the SEGA booth, but also at TikTok’s stand in Hall 7 where Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka will be making a guest appearance on Friday 26 August for a meet and greet with fans. A new trailer for the game will debut next Tuesday during Gamescom: Opening Night Live.


Saga of Sins

Fox n Forests developer Bonus Level Entertainment today revealed Saga of Sins, an unholy action adventure game. Just For Games will be publishing it on Switch in 2023.

The Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection

Square Enix will release Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection for Switch on September 27, the company announced today.

The package contains Life is Strange Remastered and Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered. It will feature every update, and optimized for Switch. This was previously known as simply Life is Strange Remastered Collection.

The Wreck

The Pixel Hunt, the studio behind Bury me, my Love, today announced that its upcoming visual novel The Wreck will be appearing on Switch. A release is planned for 2022.

Little Orpheus new release date

Publisher Secret Mode and developer The Chinese Room have set a new release date for Little Orpheus, their side-scrolling adventure game. Switch will be getting the title on September 13, 2022.

Little Orpheus was first planned to hit Switch on March 1. However, it was delayed at the last minute due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Jitsu Squad release window trailer

Last February, Jitsu Squad was secured for Switch following a successful Kickstarter campaign. It’s now been revealed that ININ Games has gotten involved and will be publishing the title in Q4 2022.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat update 1.1

A new 1.1 update has just gone out for Overcooked! All You Can Eat on Switch.

There is one new piece of content here with a Mermaid Chef skin. Other than that, the game has implemented a bunch of fixes and improved stability for one particular situation.
