Rumor: Arc System Works leak confirms Nintendo Switch 2 cartridge theory
Posted on 2 months ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Switch 2 | 0 comments
Since the reveal of Nintendo Switch 2 last month and following the news about game-key cards, there’s been a claim regarding cartridges for the console. We’ve been hearing that unlike Switch 1, there aren’t many options when it comes to sizes. Nintendo Switch 1 offered developers and publishers various options including 8GB and 16GB. However, at least currently, it’s claimed that 64GB is pretty much the only option on Nintendo Switch 2.
It’s now looking like this may very well be true. Arc System Works appears to have been hit with an internal hack in which someone was able to steal tons of data. We don’t want to get into that too much, but the end result is that it’s brought along some Nintendo Switch 2 news.

Fast Fusion will run at 60 frames per second with a 4K resolution at launch. That alone is very much impressive. However, we could see an even higher level of performance in the future.

Stardew Valley creator on why all of the updates are free, doesn’t care about money that much
Posted on 2 months ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Although Stardew Valley has been around for many years, the game hasn’t charged for any of its updates. Everything has been free. That’s despite the fact that many of its patches have been substantial, bringing along new content, features, and more.
For what Stardew Valley has brought to the game over the past decade, many studios would have opted to charge for at least some of it as paid DLC. ConcernedApe, however, has not gone down that path. Now we get to hear directly from its creator about why all of the updates have been free.
