Level-5 not making an Ace Attorney game after all
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 2 Comments
As it turns out, Level-5’s Jiro Ishii is not making an Ace Attorney game. Ishii and Capcom’s Shu Takumi did have dinner the night before, but the “Gyakuten XX” part of the first reported tweet appears to be nothing more than a joke with Square Enix’s Jin Fujisawa. At least we can still look forward to Time Travelers from Ishii.
“A misunderstanding seems to be spreading, so let me say that I’m currently working only on Time Travelers.”
Thanks to Taylor and Robert for the tip!

Actual Epic Mickey boxart revealed
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 6 Comments
For quite some time, it looked like the boxart for Epic Mickey would be pretty bland, and would only feature Mickey’s ears. GameStop, however, recently updated their game page, showing a new boxart for the title. I’d say the updated image looks much better. What do you guys think?

Aardman Animations making Raving Rabbids show
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 5 Comments
According to a job listing found for animators, Aardman Animations is making a new television series based on Ubisoft’s Raving Rabbids franchise. Aardman is mostly known for their claymation work on Wallace & Gromit as well as other project, but the company released its first computer-animated creation, Flushed Away, in 2006. The listing noted that the show will be “a live action / CGI mix”, and indicates that it is an in-house production. That’s the only information we have at the moment, but we should hear additional news in the near future.
Nintendo of America aware of 3DS conference, but not sure what will be announced
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 2 Comments
This information comes directly from a Nintendo of America customer service representative…
“Thank you for writing. There will be an announcement on September 29th, 2010 regarding the Nintendo 3DS, however, we have no details regarding what that announcement will be. Be sure to frequent our official website, www.nintendo.com, for all the latest Nintendo news and information.”
I honestly have no idea what will happen come next Wednesday. There has been so much speculation all over the place that it’s driving me nuts. Will this be only Japanese related information? Will new games be announced? Will this be a 3DS-only conference? So many questions! It’s a good thing that we’ll only have to wait a few more days to find out some details.
