Rumor: Red Steel 3 is coming, will use Vitality Sensor
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii | 2 Comments
According to the French Official Nintendo Magazine, Ubisoft already has plans for Red Steel 3. The game will supposedly make use of the Wii Vitality Sensor, the newest Nintendo peripheral. Unfortunately, that was the only detail shared in the magazine.
I do have a few doubts about the validity of this news, however. Red Steel 2 was literally just released and there have been talks of bringing the franchise to the PS3/360. I’d love for this information to be true, but until Ubisoft makes some sort of announcement (or confirms that this is fake), keep your fingers crossed.

Square Enix: Final Fantasy V/VI have “technical issues” on DS
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in DS, News | 3 Comments
This information comes from Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto, who was asked about the possibility of Final Fantasy V/VI ports…
“For FF5 and 6, there are technical issues as well, so at present these are also undecided.”
We’ve seen two Final Fantasy remakes on the DS – III and VI. But I’m a bit confused as to what would be holding back ports/remakes of V and VI. If there are indeed technical issues, might Square Enix bring the games over to the 3DS instead?

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom beat initial expectations according to Capcom
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 6 Comments
“[Tatsunoko Vs Capcom] certainly beat the initial expectations. It didn’t set any land speed records, but it was a success. And that’s really saying something considering that we’re talking about a game that was not only never coming out, but has a title that most people can’t even pronounce.” – Capcom’s Seth Killian
This is very good news. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is a high-quality title and Capcom put a lot of effort into bringing the game over to North America, so it’s nice to hear that consumers have been purchasing the game. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting it to sell very well, but I’m certainly glad that it has!
