Moonstone Island release date

The wait for the Switch version of Moonstone Island is nearly over and a release date was just shared. Today, Raw Fury and Studio Supersoft revealed that the game arrives on June 19, 2024.

Moonstone Island was revealed for Switch a couple of years ago. The PC version shipped last September, and since then, the game has grown. The team has added 70 new spirits, and players will be able to access a never-ending dungeon with rewards, “Decorator’s Pass” that grants access to all the DLC cosmetics since launch (with more to come), and a new marriage component allowing them to move in with a chosen spouse following a special wedding scene.

Garden of the Sea

Neat Corporation passed along word that it’s planning Garden of the Sea for Switch. If you’re interested in picking it up, you’ll be able to do so in Q4 2024.

Garden of the Sea is a life sim where you can play, craft, and explore across magical islands. It’s possible to build a house, grow a garden, nurture animals, adventure across the surrounding ocean, and more.

Critter Cafe

Today, publisher Secret Mode and developer Sumo Digital unveiled Critter Cafe. The game is heading to Switch later in 2024.

Discounty

Discounty is on the way to Switch, publisher PQube and developer Crinkle Cut Games announced today. A release is planned for 2025.

Discounty, a cozy management sim, has players organizing their own supermarket and trying to salvage a failing shop. That means they’ll organize and restock shelves, check customers out, make local trade deals, and befriend various characters.

Slay the Princess: The Pristine Cut

In an announcement from Black Tabby Games today, it was revealed that Slay the Princess: The Pristine Cut is coming to Switch – complete with physical versions.

The visual novel previously came out last year to much acclaim. The Pristine Cut will add new content, including chapters, expansions to other chapters, and more.

Nova Hearts

Lightbulb Crew intends to release Nova Hearts on Switch, the studio announced today. It will be available sometime this fall.

Nova Hearts is turn-based magical combat dating adventure. As far as the premise goes, you and other highly attractive people in your area are transformed into superheroes and villains by a mysterious force, and the story unfolds from there.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel touchscreen controls

If you’ve recently booted up Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel on Switch, you may have noticed that touchscreen controls are no longer working.

Numerous players reports are circulating about the issue. It seems that the problem can be traced back to the latest update. Apparently touch controls do work, but only for scrolling through text boxes and menus. When in actual duels, they don’t do anything – which is the main appeal.

SaGa Emerald Beyond physical

You may remember that Square Enix’s RPG was digital-only in North America and Europe. However, a new physical release is coming to Asia, and it fully supports English. It’s true that Japan received a boxed copy earlier this year, but it only included Japanese.
