Here’s something new–the trophy shop. If you’re having a hard time getting certain trophies, why not just buy them? They sometimes go on sale, too.

Kadokawa Games has released the first screenshots from Derby Stallion Gold, which are posted in the gallery above. You can check out the official website here.

Atlus released Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl – a remake of the first Etrian Odyssey – in 2013. Now a remake of the series’ second entry, titled Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of the Fafnir, is coming to Japan later this year.

What led Atlus to revisit Etrian Odyssey’s second entry? Atlus’ Shigeo Komori explained to Famitsu:

The previous installment, The Millennium Girl, was a new attempt in the Etrian Odyssey series. It made me nervous as to whether it would receive everyone’s acceptance, but thankfully we got impressions like “It was fun!” from many who played it, so that made me very happy. Also, because we have heard thankful voices like “While I’m waiting for the next numbered title, I’d also like to have the new Etrian Odyssey Untold series continue!”, that has given us the push to make the second.

Famitsu has shared screenshots from Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of the Fafnir. We also have learned a bit about the game’s plot.

Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of the Fafnir is set in the land of High Lagaard. The game stars Arianna, princess of the Duchy of Caledonia, as she heads to Ginnunga. Ginnunga is made up of mysterious old ruins and houses a ceremony that takes place only once a century.

When Ginnunga and her traveling party reach Ginnunga, the protagonist’s body is struck by an unknown ailment. This turns his body grotesque as his eyes go red and his hands and feet harden.
