Monster Hunter 4 is seeing very high shipments in Japan, much like you would expect. Sinobi, a game shop owner in Japan, claims that Capcom will initially send out 600,000 units. That will be followed up by shipments of between 200,000 and 300,000 units.

Sinobi estimates Monster Hunter 4’s launch shipment to be in the range of 1 to 1.5 million copies with the inclusion of e-Capcom’s own sales. It wouldn’t be as high as Monster Hunter Portable 3rd’s launch week sales of 1.9 million, though it’d still be a heck of a lot higher than most releases.

The latest Japanese gaming magazines confirms that Attack on Titan 3DS is an action game. In the title, players will be able to enjoy the sense of speed you would get from using the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear. The scan above also notes that Attack on Titan 3DS allows users to control characters from the manga and anime in story mode and experience their vicarious fight.

On occasion, your comrades will be captured by Titans. Want to save them? You’ll need to cut off the Titan’s arms before they’re eaten.

Monster Hunter 4 is set to be one of the biggest launches in Japan this year. Famitsu handed out a first score in its latest issue for the much-anticipated game, delivering a total of 38/40.

As far as the actual review is concerned, below are a few tidbits from the editors:

– Whilst being relocated, it’s a dramatically deeper hunting experience
– The length of gameplay has tremendously increased thanks to online play and StreetPass
– The addition of jump attacks and riding monsters makes for a much more enjoyable stereoscopic hunting experience
– It takes more time to master a particular weapon
– Although the in-game mannerisms seem to be drifting, completion with communication tools is high

The official Monster Hunter 4 website has been updated yet again, mostly with more screenshots and details on the game’s Unknown Forest. You can find the latest content below courtesy of Siliconera.

– Unknown Forest won’t always be the same
– Capcom shared screenshots as an example showing how the Hunter is standing in the same places during different occasions
– Paths may be blocked in one instance but open in another
– Monsters change as well
– Maps aren’t randomized in terms of accessibility, but you won’t be able to continually farm the same areas
– Maps will be different compared to those in regular quests
– Instead of the full area, Maps will only show your immediate area of the Unknown Forest
– Yian Garuga is back in Monster Hunter 4, appears in the Unknown Forest
– Velocidrome and his Velociprey minions are also returning
– Other monsters including Yian Kut-Ku and Basarios live in the Unknown Forest as well
– Excavation Equipment: new set of equipment with unique parameters and designs
– Can only be collected from the Unknown Forest
– Won’t be revealed until you complete the quest
– Players must complete an additional until you can wear the equipment, which has yet to be revealed

Update: It’s indeed out now in North America and Europe:

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team’s patch is now live in Japan, and apparently in overseas territories as well (can anyone confirm)? It’s not a major update, but it does address a few bugs. You can find the rundown of fixes here.

Bravely Default may be nearly a month old in Japan, but Square Enix just uploaded the video below today showing off some of the game’s features:
