Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon couldn’t have sold any better in Japan. As you already know, the game moved 280,000 copies in its first week. Media Create reports that Dark Moon sold through 85% (specifically 84.79%) of stock, likely leading to sell-outs.

Cumulative sales of the original Luigi’s Mansion stand at 640,000 units in Japan. But as Media Create notes, it’s difficult to compare sales of the two since conditions on the market were different. The original Luigi’s Mansion, for instance, was a launch title on GameCube.

Nintendo Show 3D is no more. After around a year-and-a-half of episodes, the show is ending. The announcement was made at the end of the series’ final video that went live on the 3DS eShop earlier today. It’s unclear why exactly it’s ending, and the situation is especially peculiar when you consider that Nintendo Show 3D often topped the 3DS charts as the store’s most-popular video.

In the wake of Famitsu’s Devil Survivor 2: Break Record unveiling, Atlus has opened an official site for the game. Access the page here. There isn’t much to see at the moment, but expect updates on the site down the road.

During a session at the Game Developers Conference earlier today, Miiverse producer Kiyoshi Mizuki revealed that Nintendo will make the social network available on smartphones and web browsers in April or May – likely the latter. The previously-promised 3DS support will arrive sometime in the future.

Initially, it will only be possible to get involved with basic Miiverse functions on smartphones and web browsers such as comment posting and image drawing. Viewing as well as participating in communities will be implemented, too.

It’s unclear when exactly Miiverse will launch on the 3DS. When it does release, some existing games and apps will be incompatible with the service.

So what’s next? At the moment, Nintendo is seeking requests and input from different developers in terms of updates to the Miiverse API.
