Capcom is still working on getting Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate’s two big apps up on the eShop. The company is promising that the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Data Transfer Program and Ultimate Packet Relay Tool will both be up by Friday.

An excerpt from a recent Capcom-Unity post reads:

“While both the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Data Transfer Program and the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Packet Relay Tool (which allows you to take the 3DS version online) are not yet live on the Nintendo eShop, Nintendo is working very closely with us to get these live as soon as possible and we anticipate that they will both be available on the Nintendo eShop by Friday, March 22. We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate that eager fans are looking forward to the feature set offered by the two apps.”

Capcom also reminds users that a Wii LAN Adapter or Wii U LAN Adapter is required in order to use the Packet Relay Tools.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon was an interesting project for Next Level Games to tackle. It was the company’s first major game that was being developed in collaboration with Nintendo as an action title.

For supervisor Yoshihito Ikebata, while he didn’t have much experience with the genre, his desire to make a new Luigi’s Mansion motivated him to work on Dark Moon.

“How did that happen? I guess I just wanted to work on a game like that.

I guess the strongest element of me getting involved with this was just because I, personally, really wanted to see a sequel to “Luigi’s Mansion.” Now, of course, that was battling within me, against the anxiety that I felt about working on a kind of game that I hadn’t really had a lot of experience with before, but I would say that in the end, the desire to make a sequel to “Luigi’s Mansion” was the stronger feeling, and it won out.”

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate technically isn’t a new game. While it’s new in the sense of the content it provides, the game is built upon the foundations of the original Wii title.

So what’s new? For those who are unclear, view the infographic below.

Nintendo has released an update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf in Japan. Once applied, it’ll fix communication issues and other problems. All players can download the patch for free.

Two of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate’s tools are not yet available through the eShop. The Data Transfer Program, which allows users to move saves between the Wii U and 3DS versions, is missing in action. So is the Packet Relay Tools download that makes 3DS online play possible.

Both are coming very soon, Capcom has said. The company “is working closely with Nintendo to make these available for download as soon as possible and apologize for the delay.”
