Nintendo confirmed Picross e for the European eShop quite a long time ago. It was supposed to see a release in the second quarter of the year, but we’re already in the third quarter.

Fortunately, there are still plans to bring the game to Europe. This week’s eShop update features a trailer for Picross e as well as a message that it’s “coming soon”.

When exactly? We don’t know. Although maybe this is a sign that it’ll be arriving soon rather than later.

On this week’s episode: New Super Mario Bros. 2, Heroes of Ruin, Month of Mario, and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.

SEGA will have nine games display at PAX Prime this year. Included in the lineup is an unannounced digital title that will apparently be announced at the show.

Here’s the lineup in full:

· Aliens: Colonial Marines
· The Cave
· Hell Yeah!- Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
· Jet Set Radio
· NiGHTS into dreams…
· Phantasy Star Online 2
· Sonic Adventure 2

Last year, Intense made GO Series: Picdun for DSiWare. The studio is now working on a sequel for the Japanese eShop.

Picdun 2, much like its predecessor, is a dungeon-crawler. There are 60 floors to go through, and this time around you’ll be accompanied by a magical girl, a being with a whip, and an archer shoots others in their hearts to make them fall in love.

The downloadable title includes an auto-mapping system. Another gameplay element allows players to return to the entrance by taking an elevator that appears every five floors.

When Picdun 2 hits Japan, it’ll carry a CERO B rating. That’s slightly higher than the first game. As for why it’s received a slight bump-up, Intense advises players to try out the game and discover the reason for themselves.

Picdun 2 will be available in Japan on August 22 for 500 yen. We’ll probably be seeing this game overseas fairly soon.

Level-5 is continuing its efforts with the Inazuma Eleven franchise on 3DS.

It’s been confirmed that Level-5 is readying a new compilation, titled “Inazuma Eleven 1.2.3!! Legend of Endo Mamoru”, that features six DS games on a single cart. Presumably, the package will contain the first game, the two versions of the second and third entries, and The Ogre.

Along with the six games, each has been reformatted with widescreen visuals.

Inazuma Eleven 1.2.3!! Legend of Endo Mamoru launches in Japan on November 15 for 5,800 yen.
