A third-party company is promising to greatly extend the battery life of the 3DS. Japan Trust Technology is preparing a new 5,800mAh add-on that will apparently last over ten hours. It adds 9mm of thickness, but the product might be worth it for the improved battery.

Consumers can choose from two sets. White, red, and pink covers retail for 9,980 yen. The blue and black covers go for 9,480 yen.

The release date of Rayman Origins 3DS is getting shifted around a bit. It’s now scheduled for March 20 in North America. IGN reported on Friday that the game would be available a month earlier.

As far as we know, Rayman Origins 3DS is still coming to Europe on February 16.

Nano Assault will be flying to Japan in just a few months. Cyber Front announced today that they will be publishing the title. Nano Assault will cost 5,040 yen in Japan and is set for release on April 19
