Edit: Valay says I would know more about it than he… but unfortunately I’ve yet to find the zombie that the dev team speaks of! A map showed up on Miiverse a few hours ago but I’ve been unable to find it since, so in the meantime I’ll just wander around. If I find it I’ll let everyone know what it was.

The development team behind ZombiU was recently teasing… something for the game. We weren’t quite sure what was planned, but some players may have come across the surprise.

After returning to the location where the original message was found, the following appears:

And after scanning the text, this shows up:

So, basically, it sounds like you’ll receive some extra/unique loot by taking down this zombie. Austin would probably know about this better than myself!

The Wii U is getting off to a rough start in Australia.

First and foremost, Activision has cancelled the release of 007 Legends in the continent. It’s currently unclear why and how this decision was reached.

Other disappointing Wii U news concerns the delay of three games: NBA 2K13, Epic Mickey 2: Power of Two and Marvel Avengers: The Battle for Earth. 2K’s basketball title will be out early next year while Epic Mickey 2 and Marvel Avengers will launch on December 13.

Yet another Iwata Asks discussion is now available for your viewing pleasure. Visit this link for an interview regarding Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

There are a whole bunch of quotes from Nintendo president Satoru Iwata below. You’ll find talk about Wii U’s day-one update, which Iwata regrets, Zelda and Mario for Wii U, working with third-party developers and publishers, and more.

Head past the break for the quotes. Believe me, you’ll want to read this stuff.

Frozenbyte has revealed plans to update Trine 2: Director’s Cut next month. When the patch is made available, players will be able to chat with each other online. The only caveat is that you’ll need a headset with a separate mic to take advantage of the functionality.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Nintendo originally shot down the idea of the original Binding of Isaac on the 3DS due to “questionable religious content”. But now the game is getting a remake, and creator Ed McMillen/new partner Nicalis “have a feeling the new look might soften up a few people at Nintendo for a possible Wii U/3DS eShop release.”

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will feature a second planned expansion not included in the Flash version, local co-op, and full 16-bit graphics. With the new visual style and the fact that Nicalis is on board, I’d say this project has a pretty decent shot at a Wii U and/or 3DS release.
