Details

– Dolby Pro Logic II compatible
– Go to the options menu and choose from mono, stereo and DPLII
– Switch the button to either up or down for command mode
– Girls with small hands in the Mario Club tested the game, which was why the down key is included
– Map objects that are destroyed are automatically repaired
– Sakaguchi advises fans think of the objects as attack gimmicks, not background elements
– “Pointer” lines for enemy targeting can be changed to off, show only when Elza has executed his Gathering move, show always, show pointers for enemies and allies
– Magic Circles can be spread through jump slash and vertical slash (non magic-based characters can spread it also)
– 16 save slots
– “chuudan save” feature: Auto saved, starts back at the previous load point, used when you want to stop play and come back alter
– No Wiimote shake controls
– Control options automatically switched when using the Classic controller
– Camera control with the right stick
– Can flip the camera controls around
– Sakaguchi says the Wiimote and Classic Controller options are basically the same, so it will come down to personal preference

– Sakaguchi enjoys playing with his LEGO Wiimote/nunchuck
– Set your name using up to 8 alphabetic characters for multiplayer
– Game doesn’t use the Wiimote speaker
– Sakaguchi says the game is impossible on an HD system due to Nintendo and the Mario Club working with Mistwalker for nine months, which basically added to the development staff
– Elza’s bow gun can be strengthened to increase basic damage
– Different bow types for the gun
– Elza’s arrows for his bow gun are infinite
– Other bow gun ammo starts off at 0 and isn’t infinite (banana included)

I’m assuming that we’ll hear more about Super Street Fighter IV 3D’s online functionality as well as the 3DS’ online in general next Wednesday. And the image Phillips posted is quite interesting… is that a response to the uproar over friend codes?

– Play against others locally by choosing the Player vs. Player option from the Versus mode menu
