Daio is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster has announced Daio as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. A worldwide release is planned for November 2, 2023.
A shooting game released by Athena in 1993, Daio has a Japanese version that uses two buttons to switch between weapons, and an overseas version that utilises six buttons for every weapon. Whichever version you play, the game is designed to be particularly challenging even for those familiar with the genre.
Arcade Archives Daio will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Shin-chan: Shiro of Coal Town releasing in Japan February 2024

Neos Corporation has just announced the release date for Shin-chan: Shiro of Coal Town in Japan. The game is set to release in the region on February 22, 2024.
Alongside the release date, a Japanese Collector’s Edition for the game was also announced. It will feature a physical copy of the game along with a collectible pin, a picture book-style notebook (also acting as a flipbook), a 68-page artbook, physical soundtrack (alongside a download code for it), a theme song sheet, a papercraft train, a town map, and a sticker sheet.

Snakebird Complete is on the way to Switch, Astra Logical and Noumenon Games have announced. A release is planned for November 24, 2023.
Snakebird Complete features Snakebird and Snakebird Primer, a pair of titles that debuted in 2015 and 2019 respectively. Over 120 puzzles are included plus a new hint system.
