Splatoon 3 update 4.0.2

The next Splatoon 3 update has been announced with Nintendo readying version 4.0.2. It should be available on June 13, 2023.

Several fixes are planned for multiplayer. Additionally, Nintendo is improving things in Salmon Run and Splatsville to get the game running faster.

Oxenfree II developer interview

Oxenfree II, the long-awaited sequel to Night School Studio’s moody supernatural mystery, is right around the corner. After playing through the first 30 minutes of the game at Sumer Game Fest Play Days, we had the opportunity to speak with studio director Sean Krankel about the game’s development, storytelling mechanics, and more.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is in development and it’s coming to Switch, Capcom just announced. It will launch in early 2024.

The graphics have been reworked a bit to support HD. English, Japanese, French, German, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese will be supported. Voice recordings for the new languages will also be available.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy includes three titles. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice are a part of the package. They are the fourth, fifth, and sixth entries in one complete package.

Ghost Trick demo

Starting today, a demo for Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is being made available on Switch. Fans can pick it up now on the eShop.

Capcom Showcase live stream

The June 2023 Capcom Showcase is almost here, and just ahead of the event, we’re sharing the official live stream. It begins at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM in the UK / 12 AM in Europe. There’ll also be a pre-show a half hour beforehand if you’re interested.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is confirmed to have a presence here. Other than that, it remains to be seen if any other Switch titles will appear. Of course, we’ll being you any notable news as it happens. 

Beat 'Em Up Archives

Another classic release is in store for Switch with QUByte Interactive and Piko Interactive announcing Beat ‘Em Up Archives. It’s due out on June 15, 2023.

Beat ‘Em Up Archives includes Iron Commando and Legend. Both games include options for the screen type and filters.

Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope Rayman teaser

During its Ubisoft Forward presentation today, a new look was provided at the upcoming Rayman DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

We previously heard about this DLC last year. We still don’t have a ton of details, but we now have an actual look at how Rayman looks in the game with a new trailer.

Brawlhalla is back with another collaboration, and today announced a new Halo: Combat Evolved event that will bring Master Chief and the Arbiter to the game.

The event is set to begin on July 12, 2023. We have a trailer showing off what’s in store below.

Roller Champions Jet Set Radio

Today, Ubisoft revealed a new collaboration for Roller Champions that will see the game teaming up with Jet Set Radio. SEGA originally released the Dreamcast classic back in 2000.

Gum and Beat will both be a part of the event. Additionally, a new skatepark will be introduced. Everything will be available starting on June 27, 2023.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

Original (6/8): During Summer Game Fest 2023 today, Ubisoft announced Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for Switch. It will launch on January 18, 2024.

The game returns to the series’ roots as a 2.5D action platformer. Here’s an overview:
