Finally I stop being lazy and take on some glitches in one of my favorite games of all time, No More Heroes! If you have an appetite for funny, stylistic games (with a few flaws, of course) I highly recommend it. And I recommend doing trying out these glitches yourself of course.

5th Cell has explained the decision to mix together the Scribblenauts and DC Comics franchises.

In a soon to be published interview, senior producer Caleb Arseneaux said that the pairing came about as the team was deciding how to advance the series “in a new way that would appeal to a new audience and our longtime Scribblenauts fans.”

Arseneaux told us:

“It really came down to how we could advance the game in a new way that would appeal to a new audience and our longtime Scribblenauts fans. The DC Comics Universe is so rich and full of unique and awesome characters we felt that the technology that brought the other Scribblenauts titles to life could be used to give DC Comics fans a great new way to interact with characters they love. This also provides an opportunity for our Scribblenauts fans to experience playing with real super hero characters that have powers, backstories and behaviors that they’ve never seen before.”

Look out for our full interview with Arseneaux – it’ll be going live soon.

Obtaining the Swift Sail in Zelda: Wind Waker HD isn’t difficult, but it isn’t straightforward either. Here’s a quick video showing how players can receive the item:

“In my mind we are all human beings first, whether we are gamers or not. I believe that we all respond positively to emotions that are true. If you make something true and original, people from different backgrounds and with different interests can and will want to experience it.”

“Miyazaki movies are a great reference for me because they primarily have female main characters, and at the same time, I feel they are loved by gamers. You can watch Iron Man and My Neighbor Totoro in the same weekend and it’s not considered weird. In fact, you would be considered a film aficionado. So why wouldn’t a gamer, somebody that likes games, be interested in playing different experiences? One type of experience doesn’t replace another, they complete each other.”

“We will see if Child of Light will be well received, and I hope it will be, but in the end its success will be riding on the quality of the experience and not its subject matter.”

– Child of Light creative director Patrick Plourde
