Capcom accidentally leaked Ace Attorney 5’s release date through a blog post. Famitsu this week confirms the game’s expected launch: July 25, 2013.

Those who purchase the game early – by August 15 – will be able to download free DLC costumes. The first provides Phoenix Wright with his attire from the first three games. Kokone will receive a Japanese school outfit while Apollo gets new clothing created by Kazura Nuri.

Famitsu also introduces a new prosecutor this week, but we’re waiting on more specific details about the character to leak from the magazine.

SEGA is working on a follow-up to Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai. This week’s Famitsu reveals that a direct sequel, appropriately titled Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai 2, is heading to Japan this fall.

Three songs have been confirmed for Project Mirai 2 thus far including Yume Yume from the original 3DS title, Do Re Mi Fa Rondo, and Koneko No Paya Paya.

Actual gameplay details leaking from Famitsu are minimal thus far. We do know that there will be some kind of mode that places emphasis on the touch screen. There will, of course, still be traditional rhythm button gameplay.

By using the company’s peripheral, it is possible to play the Wii U in a car. Users plug the hardware into the cigarette slot in order to power the Wii U… and that’s it, basically. You can’t play games that require the television – only off-TV titles are supported – but it’s a neat little device nonetheless.

What’s next for the Nano Assault Neo creator, Shin’en Games? We know that the team is finishing up Jett Rocket II – The Wrath of Taikai, but what else is on the horizon?

Shin’en has a couple of Wii U announcements in store for later in 2013. It’s unclear if either title will make it out this year, however.

Maybe one of those games is a new racer. When a fan told Shin’en that he wants them to make a new F-Zero, the company responded:

A new teaser site has launched for Puzzle & Dragons Z. Access it here.

This is about a “teaserish” as you can get. There’s literally nothing to see on the site as present aside from a logo.

Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move may be ready for launch early next month. On the 3DS eShop, a May 9 release for North America is listed.
