Today, Total Mayhem Games announced that the We Were Here series is set to appear on Nintendo Switch. Fans can pick up the first three games later in 2025.

We Were Here is a series of co-op puzzle games. Backwards compatibility with Nintendo Switch 2 is promised and cross-platform support is in development.

We have another round of data from Nintendo, this time covering Japan’s best-selling Switch eShop titles for the first half of 2025.

To say the least, it’s been a good few months for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The game secured the first two spots with a couple of different editions. Other titles in the top ten include Tamagotchi Plaza, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD.

Old School Rally

Publisher Astrolabe Games, along with developer Frozen Lake Games, today confirmed plans to release Old School Rally on Nintendo Switch. The title is set to launch this holiday.

Old School Rally is a retro rally racing game. If you’re interested in it at all, you’ll be able to give it a try through a new demo hitting the Nintendo eShop on July 10.

Morgan Metal Detective release date

Previously announced for Nintendo Switch, Morgan: Metal Detective secured its release date today. The game will be ready to go on July 30, 2025.

Morgan: Metal Detective, a first-person metal detector adventure game, was confirmed for Nintendo Switch back in September. This is the first time we’ve had any sort of launch window.

Time Flies release date

A few years after it was announced, Time Flies has been given a final release date. Panic and Playables confirmed today that it’s hitting Nintendo Switch on July 31, 2025.

Time Flies was originally revealed back in 2022. It took significantly longer than expected for the project to wrap up, as it was last slated for 2023.

Disney Dreamlight Valley The Storybook Vale - Part 2 The Unwritten Realm update

July 7: Gameloft is reading the final chapter of the expansion pass, Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale, with Part 2: The Unwritten Realm, and we have the patch notes.

Players will rescue some old pals and befriend a couple of characters from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. There’s also the new evasive Snippets, new challenging puzzles, and more. All players will also gain access to bug fixes.

Jelly Troops

Publisher Phoenixx and developer Nukenin have just announced the official release date of Jelly Troops. The game is expected to stick to the Switch eShop on September 18, 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for June 2025.

As Switch 2 makes its debut, it’s Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour at the very top. Right behind it is Fast Fusion, which is only available digitally. Mario Kart World settles for third.

Cats Away gameplay

Cats Away will be out on Nintendo Switch in the west this week, and before that happens, you can view some early gameplay. A half hour of footage showcases the nautical adventure with pirates, talking cats, and sea battles.

Scholar's Mate

Scholar’s Mate will be appearing on Nintendo Switch this week, JanduSoft has announced. It will be available on July 10, 2025.

Scholar’s Mate is a first-person horror escape room experience. Players will enter the corridors of an abandoned psychiatric hospital in which they’ll need to help Judith solve twisted puzzles and stay hidden from her relentless captor, Eddie.
