Xbox Nintendo Switch 2

January 25: Xbox began its support with the current Nintendo Switch, and that should extend to Switch 2 as well.

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer was recently asked about his thoughts concerning the new console in an interview with Gamertag Radio. Spencer has heaped paise on Nintendo plenty of times before, so it’s no surprise that he once again shared some very positive thoughts here.

Xenoblade X overview

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for March 2025.

Just one new game made the list, which is Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition. However, it ultimately settles for second. The game at the very top spot is Minecraft, which is boosted by the recent movie.

Arcade Archives Tatakae Big Fighter

For its latest release in the Arcade Archives series, Hamster has announced Tatakae Big Fighter. A worldwide launch is happening tomorrow, April 17.

Tatakae Big Fighter, which first debuted in 1989, comes from Nichibutsu. Also known as Sky Robo, it’s a shoot ’em up game and a spin-off of the Terra Cresta series.

Nikoderiko Magical World Director's Cut

March 18: Nikoderiko: The Magical World is set to receive a new Director’s Cut, it’s been announced. It will be available on April 15, 2025.

The new Director’s Cut will offer new features, including expanded levels, new secrets to uncover, optimized mechanics, and more. We’ve also heard that the team is sprucing up the visuals, but further details weren’t shared.

The Beast and the Princess

Libragames’ upcoming title The Beast and the Princess will be getting a Nintendo Switch version, the studio announced today. The game lands on the console later in 2025.

The Beast and the Princess is a tower defense game at its core in which players can combo ultimate moves to take down enemies. There’s a story here as well with two princess twins end up trapped in a game.

Deck of Haunts

Dangen Entertainment and Mantis Games plan to release Deck of Haunts on Nintendo Switch, the two sides confirmed today. Fans will be able to grab it later in 2025.

Deck of Haunts, a sinister deckbuilding roguelike, has you playing as a malevolent haunted house. You’ll build a mansion, lure unsuspecting humans into it, and terrify them into madness – or even kill them – and extract their essance.

Wings of Endless release date

A little more than year after it was announced for Nintendo Switch, we now have a release date for Wings of Endless. JanduSoft today shared the news that it’s publishing the game on May 8, 2025.

Isoca Games is behind the project, which is a pixel-art action RPG.

Publisher Fulqrum Publishing, together with developer Byte Barrel, have just announced that Forgive Me Father 2, previously released on PC, will be coming to consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, this fall. 

The game is a sequel to the 2021 FPS title and stands out for its hand-drawn visual style and fast-paced gameplay.

As we get closer to the launch of Capcom Fighting Collection 2, Capcom has released a new trailer highlighting two more titles included in the collection: Street Fighter Alpha 3, originally released in 1998, and Power Stone, which made its debut in 1999.

Both games bring unique styles to the collection, Street Fighter Alpha 3 as a cornerstone of 2D competitive fighting, and Power Stone offering chaotic 3D arena battles with a twist.

A new Switch Partner Spotlight Sale is now up and running on the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo itself isn’t including any games, but a ton of notable third-party titles are present – some of which with massive discounts. Cult of the Lamb, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and Vampire Survivors are just some of the highlights.
