Bread & Fred Laboratory update

Infogrames, along with Sand Castles Studio, today shared details about a big “Laboratory” update planned for Bread & Fred.

The update doubles the game’s content with the inclusion of a new 666-meter map. It comes with its own mechanics, NPCs and lore, plus a bunch of new puzzle rooms and secret capybaras. The free content can be accessed after completing the base game in multiplayer to scale to new heights in co-op mode.

Electrogical

Electrogical is getting a Nintendo Switch version, publisher Phoenixx and developer Kinjo shared today. It will be available sometime in 2025.

Electrogical is an arithmetic-based jigsaw puzzle game. It’s been in Early Access on PC, and is now adding new content with twenty-five new challenge stages, seven new trial stages featuring mysterious mechanics for an added twist, and quality-of-life and accessibility updates like improved sound effects and the addition of German and Russian language options.

The Horror of Blueberry Onsen 

Today, Game Studio revealed Ao Oni: The Horror of Blueberry Onsen. The game is due out on Nintendo Switch sometime this spring.

Ao Oni: The Horror of Blueberry Onsen is a horror puzzle action adventure title. This follows the previous entry in the series which landed on Nintendo Switch last year.

Civilization VII

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for February 2025.

Civilization 7 is the one new game here, which debuts at #12. Hello Kitty Island Adventure has proven extremely popular in North America, and similarly, that’s proven to be the case in Europe as well with the game taking the top spot.

The Arcade Crew and Assoupi are promoting the launch of MainFrames with a new trailer. The game, which is a 2D platformer that takes place on a desktop monitor’s screen, has now come to Nintendo Switch.

Abyss Seeker What Do You See Deep in the Abyss

Previously released on PC, Abyss Seeker: What Do You See Deep in the Abyss is now seeing an imminent launch on Nintendo Switch. The game is due out tomorrow, March 6.

Abyss Seeker: What Do You See Deep in the Abyss is a twin-stick survival shooter. While the Nintendo Switch version will be largely the same as the original release, the “Plasma Beam” and “Zantetsu Protocol” Grimoires have been swapped out in favor of the “Rapid Laser” and “Magic Missile” Grimoires. This is intended to help with performance.

January 20: Publisher kawaiinium and developer Frontier Works have announced that they will be bringing a remastered version of the romance visual novel Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity to Nintendo Switch, with a targeted release window of Spring 2025.
