Under Defeat coming to Switch on December 5

August 9: City Connection have announced that they will be bringing shoot’em up Under Defeat to Switch on December 5 in Japan. The title, an HD remaster of the PS3/Xbox 360 original, was previously revealed earlier this year. A Western release has currently not been announced.

Tactical battle sim Shieldwall coming to Nintendo Switch

Publisher OverGamez and developer Nezon Production are readying a Nintendo Switch version of Shieldwall, it’s been announced. The game is expected sometime this month on the console.
Shieldwall is a third-person tactical battle simulator with strategy elements. The title initially launched on PC to a strong reception, and now it’s bound for consoles.

Bouncing-bullet cowboy brawler Ricochet Rodeo coming to Switch

Echidna Studios’ new game Ricochet Rodeo will be made available on Switch, the developer has announced. It’s slated for 2025 on Nintendo’s console.
Ricochet Rodeo is a bouncing-bullet brawler with a pixel-rendered cowboy aesthetic. Up to eight people can play together locally or online.

Jetpack Kiwi, side scrolling shoot ’em up game, out on Switch this week

Ratalaika Games will publish Jetpack Kiwi on Switch this week, the company has announced. It’s due out on November 8, 2024.
Jetpack Kiwi is a side-scrolling shoot ’em up game with 20 challenging levels and a slew of bosses. Pitigamedev is originally behind the title’s development.

Symphonia release date set for December, new trailer

Symphonia, the side-scrolling platformer from Headup and Sunny Peak, just secured a release date. The two sides have it pinned down for December 5, 2024.
We originally heard about Symphonia back in August. Headup was only committing to a general 2024 launch window at the time, however.
