Katuba's Poacher

Katuba’s Poacher will be released on Nintendo Switch, publisher Red Dunes Games and developer Joe Yu announced today. Launch timing was not provided.

Katuba’s Poacher is a cartoon boss and rush arcade action game. As a poacher, you’ll be going after a particular creature, but bounty hunters will be contracted to hunt you down.

July 28: RideOn Japan has just announced that they’ll be bringing Brave x Junction to Nintendo Switch. The game has not yet received a release date, but it’s set for this year.

July 10: Today, Total Mayhem Games announced that the We Were Here series is set to appear on Nintendo Switch. Fans can pick up the first three games later in 2025.

We Were Here is a series of co-op puzzle games. Backwards compatibility with Nintendo Switch 2 is promised and cross-platform support is in development.

Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming titles:

August 14: Today, Asobism announced that ShapeHero Factory is set to appear on Nintendo Switch. The game launches on September 18, 2025.

ShapeHero Factory features factory building, roguelite, and tower defense elements. The gameplay loop involves controlling magical, shape-based warriors, sending them into battle, and carrying out additional runs with better factories.

Here’s some additional information:

Publisher Akupara Games, along with solo dev Jack Breen of Studio Hybrid, today revealed that Gigasword will be appearing on Nintendo Switch. It’s due out on November 13, 2025.

Gigasword is an action puzzle Metroidvania game, which has Ezra fighting to reach the top of the Nestrium and recover the God Crystal within. The game has various puzzles, covert chambers to discover, enemies to fight, and more.

Heroes of Mount Dragon

February 10: Today, RuniQ confirmed plans for its new game Heroes of Mount Dragon on Nintendo Switch. The title launches on the system this September.

Heroes of Mount Dragon is a side-scrolling brawler at its core, and there’s support for co-op. One of the main hooks is dragon-morphing powers.
