Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are back with another update, with both games now at version 1.3.2. This is a small update as adjustments have been made relating to live tournaments.

Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for Pikmin 4, and the recently-announced demo is now available as well.
The video introduces fans to the game’s world. Like previous entries, you’ll team up with plantlike creatures, and this time around, the Rescue Pup Oatchi will be joining the fun. The game lets you explore a mysterious planet, rescue stranded castaways in strategic Dandori Battles, collect Treasures on the planet’s surface and underground, set off for Night Expeditions (also new for this entry), and more.

Call of Duty has thus far not made it to Switch, but looking back on things, Activision seems to regret things a bit.
In a court battle taking place this week between the FTC and Microsoft, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick actually ended up commenting on Nintendo’s console. Speaking about the lack of support for Call of Duty on the console, he said: “I made a bad judgment.” Kotick had initially believed Nintendo was trying to do too much with the Switch and that it wouldn’t be a success. However, he has now acknowledged: “It’s probably the second biggest video game system of all time.”

Disney Illusion Island story trailer

Disney Illusion Island just received its latest trailer focusing on the game’s story. The premise involves Mickey Mouse and the rest of the gang exploring Monoth as they look to recover three mystical books to save the world from disaster.

Pixel Pulps Switch physical release in the works

Chorus Worldwide, LCB Games, and Funstock today announced the Pixel Pulps physical release on Switch. It will be available in Q4 2023 at retailers worldwide.
Three visual novels are included in the package. Buyers will gain access to Mothmen 1966, Varney Lake, and Bahnsen Knights.

Meridiem Games, in partnership with Don’t Nod, today revealed a physical release for Gerda: A Flame in Winter, on Switch. It will be distributed across Europe this fall.
Each copy of the Gerda: A Flame in Winter physical edition features the game plus a specially designed sleeve and will contain two unique art postcards and an exclusive bookmark. We have a look at it all above.
Multiplayer racing strategy game Running Fable announced for Switch

Developer Seashell Studio have announced that they will be bringing multiplayer racing strategy game Running Fable to Switch. The game released on Steam last year, and will support cross-platform play for up to 10 players when it arrives on the Switch. No release date was announced. The game features a variety of traps that players can use as they aim to build up their score, and will have multiple different customisation options for its characters.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival gains “Shin Japan Heroes Universe Pack” DLC, “Run! Ninja Dojo” mode

Bandai Namco has announced new content for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival which brings about the “Shin Japan Heroes Universe Pack” DLC plus the new “Run! Ninja Dojo” mode.
The “Shin Japan Heroes Universe Pack” DLC includes a new song as well as various mini characters like Godzilla and an exclusive background. This is priced at $2.99.
As for the “Run! Ninja Dojo” mode, it’s a party experience that can be enjoyed by up to four players at once.
