Although the images above only show screenshots of what was allegedly Burnout Freestyle for DS, the game was supposedly in the works for the Wii as well. For one reason or another, Criterion stopped working on the project and the titles were cancelled.

The image above is rumored to have come from Japanese magazine V-Jump, although no one has been able to verify that the logo is official. Meanwhile, Eurogamer Portgual has reported that the magazine will be unveiling the title in their next issue. To be honest, I’m quite skeptical about both points, but I wouldn’t mind if I was wrong!

– Team has to make everything in the game in real life first
– Over 175 characters and vehicles to choose from in total
– Story contains content from the films, such as taking part in the battle on Genosis at the end of Attack of the Clones
– Several secret characters from the films, Season 3, and The Force Unleashed
– Collect minikit to find the characters

– Red Fly developing the Wii version
– Wii version has its own unique story and gameplay
– Action-brawler
– Focuses on Mjöllnir
– Producer Chad Barron: “In fact, it’s almost more about the hammer than it is about Thor”
– Customize Mjöllnir as you progress
– 3 upgrade categories: storm, valor, might
– Dev team experimented with around 10 control schemes
– Decided too much motion would be tiring in a beat-’em-up
