The Best Video Game Value for the Holidays Just Got Even Better
REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Nintendo has everyone’s holiday shopping list covered with an array of great new products. These include Mario™-red, limited-edition Wii™ and Nintendo DSi XL™ system bundles that celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros.™ game on the NES™ and a new Wii Remote™ Plus controller that has Wii MotionPlus™ motion technology built right in. Nintendo already offers tremendous video game value, and these products will make it even easier for shoppers to find fun at a great price. All new products go on sale in North America on Nov. 7, and the limited-edition products will be available while supplies last.

– Nintendo’s Mario Club visited the dev studio numerous times to look at all accessibility/special controls
– Nintendo has provided a lot of support for the game
– Much focus testing has been going on at Eurocom
– 3 control types
– 5 sensitivities
– Custom for pointer aiming
– Engine has been evolved from Dead Space Extraction
– Tank is a prototype, not an old war relic
– Can shoot copters down
– Go to Barcelona dance club, will meet Valentin there

– Extended intro scene which has no shooting, Craig says “I owe you one” in Spanish

– Proximity Mines in multiplayer come with one of the sniper layouts
– In melee mode, players can increase the length of your hands and arms

The most interesting part to me is the fact that Modern Warfare 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus, and Just Dance were all release last year, and yet still are on the charts for this year. Pretty impressive performance, if I do say so myself!
