Best-selling games in the U.S. for February 2025 – Civilization 7 debuts

Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of February 2025.
Looking at Nintendo Switch games, the one to appear the highest is Civilization 7 at #3, which is for all platforms combined. Worth noting, Nintendo itself doesn’t actually have any games here. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD previously appeared in January, but has now fallen off entirely.

Mortal Kombat 1 got its latest update today for March 2025.
The big stuff here, of course, is T1000 and Madam Bo. But on top of that, there are a ton of balance adjustments. Nintendo Switch players will also be interested to hear that there are a few specific improvements on that platform.

Riki 8Bit Game Collection secures physical release on Nintendo Switch

After previously launching digitally, Riki 8Bit Game Collection is now getting a physical release on Nintendo Switch. Limited Run Games is handling this one.
The physical release will be sold standalone, but every copy includes some extra goodies. Other than the game on a cartridge, you’ll get a special box, original soundtrack, and eleven art cards. Only 1,000 copies will be available.

A new version 1.1.0 update has just come to Fitness Boxing 3, which includes Hiro as a new instructor.
Outside of that, there are other additions and adjustments. These include a new screen showing the history of the latest 100 workouts and the ability to select the classic target design. Elsewhere some of the workout themselves have been adjusted.

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster reveals Nintendo Switch release date

The remaster of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos just received a release date. Today, it was announced that the game launches on April 2, 2025.
The title, which originally debuted on the PS1, was initially planned to make its return last year. However, Argonaut decided to make use of some “final touches to ensure the game meets the high standards that we aspire to and which you deserve.”
Nightmare Busters Rebirth announced for Nintendo Switch, return of the SNES game

Nightmare Busters Rebirth is in development for Nintendo Switch, Pix’n Love and Aurora Game Studio revealed today. A release window was not provided.
Nightmare Busters originally released for the SNES, but it didn’t actually receive a proper release until 2013. The run and gun action game is now making a modernized comeback that will support local co-op.

Reviews for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition are now starting to come in. With the game launching on Switch in just a couple of days, Nintendo has now lifted the embargo.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition isn’t entirely new as it initially released on Wii U. However, Monolith Soft put in some extensive work to not only improve the original experience, but add to it as well. Most fans are well aware of this, but a brand new story has now been added. On top of that, there have been improvements to the graphics, the gameplay itself, and more.

Livestream 1 and 2 Nintendo Switch physical release revealed

Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami and Livestream 2: Escape from Togaezuka Happy Place are receiving a new dual physical release on Nintendo Switch, it’s been revealed. Arc System Works will be bringing it to Asia on April 10, 2025.
The original game was sold physically, but it appears that this is the first time the sequel is getting the same treatment. English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese are all supported. With Nintendo Switch being a region console, if you’re reading this post, you can own and play both games physically by importing a copy.
