Super Mario Party Jamboree 2.0.0 update

For those with a copy of Super Mario Party Jamboree on Nintendo Switch, a version 2.0.0 update is now available. The patch notes have also been released.

Various bug fixes are included this time around. One of these involves a progression issue with Party-Planner Trek.

The full overview of the update is as follows:

APICO physical

Announced today, a physical release for APICO is now in production. Limited Run Games will be distributing.

Limited Run sometimes offers a special edition (or in some cases two of them), but that’s not the case here. We’ll only be seeing standard copies being made available to fans.

Fear Effect physical

Limited Run Games today pulled back the curtain on its Fear Effect physical release for Nintendo Switch.

All fans will be able to grab the title standalone, but there’ll also be a Deluxe Edition. Those choosing the latter will receive the soundtrack, double-sided poster, game case keychain, and loading screen pin as extras.

Minecraft Chase the Skies update

Starting today, Minecraft players can access a brand new “Chase the Skies” update, and it’s pretty massive. Everything is available with the version 1.21.90 update.

Chase the Skies has a lot that’s new. It includes a new Happy Ghast flying mount, Dried Ghast block, harness item, and much more. Note that there’s also a Vibrant Visuals graphics refresh, but this is not in the Nintendo Switch version.

The full rundown is as follows:

When Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles arrives later this year, content from the War of the Lions version won’t be included. Square Enix has now explained why.

The War of the Lions came to the PSP back in 2007. It features quite a bit of additional content, including new characters and jobs, new pre-rendered cutscenes, and multiplayer features. Unfortunately, these aspects will be missing in The Ivalice Chronicles.

Moonstone Island Evolutions update

Moonstone Island received a big “Evolutions” update today. If you’re playing on Nintendo Switch, it should show as version 1.0.12 once installed.

True to its name, the update brings along the addition of evolved Spirits and a whole new gameplay system. There’s also a new quest, mine type, and boss battle.

Here’s the full rundown:

For years, fans eagerly awaited the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2,  but for some, the transition hasn’t been entirely smooth. A few players are reporting issues involving Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, specifically with save data being lost during the transfer process to the new system.

A post on Reddit brought attention to the situation, with the original poster saying their save file had disappeared after the move. The thread quickly filled with similar stories from others who claim to have faced the same issue. One user, ThatOtaku26, shared that their lost file contained over 1,000 hours of gameplay and included beloved Pokemon carried over from multiple generations, dating back to Pokemon Leaf Green and Pokemon Diamond on the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS.

Here’s what they had to say on Reddit:

Ratalaika Games has announced that its latest title, Prehistoric Gal, is arriving on the Nintendo Switch later this week. The game launches digitally on June 20, 2025.

Prehistoric Gal is a retro-inspired platformer that puts players in the shoes of a courageous heroine on a mission through a vibrant prehistoric world. Her goal? To rescue her beloved, facing off against fierce creatures and overcoming environmental challenges along the way.

Here’s an official overview:
