Wii U eShop

Five new games will be available on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console next week. They are as follows:

Mega Man Battle Network 3 (GBA, 702 yen)
Mega Man Battle Network 3 BLACK (GBA, 702 yen)
Moto Roader (PC Engine, 617 yen)
Digital Champ (PC Engine, 617 yen)
Vampire Killer (MSX, 823 yen)

The games above are hitting the Japanese eShop on December 17.

Plenty of Fishies may now be heading to the North American Wii U eShop next week. Nitrolic Games previously said that the title would be available this Thursday, but the eShop is stating otherwise. The game’s date seems to have been changed to December 18 – we’ll try to obtain confirmation.

Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse already launched for 3DS back in October. However, WayForward has also been preparing the same game for Wii U.

It’s still unclear when exactly Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is coming to Nintendo’s console, though it could release this month. The title is currently in final testing and WayForward said on Twitter that “a 2014 release looks possible”.

TACS Games is developing Factotum for the Wii U eShop. The game is a robotic double-first-person-puzzler.

Here’s an official overview:

On a space ship taken over by unknown aliens the player must take command of two disused menial robots in an attempt to regain control of the ship. The robots must work together to move through the ship, solving puzzles and repairing the ships systems in an effort to keep the trapped crew alive and ultimately repel the invaders.
