Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties launches tomorrow on Nintendo Switch 2, and developer RGG Studio has just confirmed a day-one update for the release.
Versions 1.11 and 1.12 address a variety of localization issues, fix several in-game bugs, and include a number of visual improvements, as well as a new gameplay mode: New Game+. Version 1.12 will be released at a later date on Nintendo Switch 2.

Brotato has revealed a new free update, “Paws & Claws”. It’s only available on PC so far, but it’s expected on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch in the near future.
Brotato’s latest update adds a new class of items in the form of pets with nine to discover in all. A new character is also included for free with the Beast Master, which “revolves around collecting as many pets as possible and setting them loose on the battlefield.” Additional quality of life changes and updates are packed in as well.

Publisher Dotemu and developer Auroch Digital have just revealed the release date for Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 16.
Inspired by the 1990s sci-fi film, the game is a retro-style first-person shooter set in the Starship Troopers universe. Throughout the adventure, players “will join the Mobile Infantry in the most realistic depiction of war ever made.”
Yet another game has received a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and this time it’s Braid: Anniversary Edition. It’s live in Japan and should be out in most regions within the next day or so.
Braid: Anniversary Edition has some bonuses when playing on Nintendo Switch 2. For resolution, it’s up to 1080p in handheld mode and up to 4K when docked. On top of that, you’ll get a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, high-resolution textures, and additional developer commentary.

Pokemon Pokopia is launching very soon, specifically on March 5, but there’s still a lot left to learn about the game – including how look it takes to beat. The new Pokémon spin-off, which has been nicknamed the “Animal Crossing of Pokemon,” remains shrouded in mystery, though new details are gradually being revealed.
Earlier today, director Takuto Edagawa confirmed in an interview with IGN that the game does feature a main campaign. According to him, players can expect to complete it in around 20 to 40 hours, with plenty of post-credits content available afterward.
Square Enix announced Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse last week, and has quickly followed up with more details covering the game’s characters and a couple of minigames – specifically Underwater Gathering and Mocking Birds. We also have a new set of screenshots.

Updates for No Man’s Sky continue, and Hello Games has pulled back the curtain on the next one – “Remnant”, or version 6.2. It should be rolling out soon on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
As usual the team has packed in a lot here. Highlights include the Gravitino Coil (gravity gun) module, new additions for the Colossus Exocraft, and more. Players can also now assemble their own colossal corvette-class starship on Nintendo Switch for the first time.

February 9: Gameloft is preparing the next update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, which is known as “Puppy Love”. It will be available on February 11, 2026.
In a new Realm, the update lets players meet the Lady and the Tramp from Disney’s Lady and the Tramp. There’s also a new Star Path, return of the Eggstravaganza Event, improvements, and fixes.
