Pikmin Bloom has had its best year yet in 2025 and has now reached $100 million in lifetime player spending. That milestone just took place on December 1, which is around four years after the initial launch.

It’s notable that Pikmin Bloom has continued to grow over the years. According to AppMagic, the game brought in $34.8 million in 2025, and there’s still a month remaining. Interestingly, there’s been growth every year.

The original Octopath Traveler was a milestone game, not only as the first major exclusive JRPG for Nintendo Switch, but also for the genre as a whole. It simultaneously reinvigorated a love in turn-based combat for many lapsed RPG fans, while also creating a visual style that has not only been wildly successful for Square Enix, but for imitators across other major studios and indie publishers. Octopath Traveler spawned not only a sequel title, but other games using the HD-2D style, including – critically for today’s discussion – Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent.

The update is massive, bringing along new content, features, and bug fixes. Highlights include four new boss fights, the Big Tournament, Lime Trials, Hard Mode and Stage Mode, and much more.
