July 23: Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV will be out everywhere tomorrow, and to celebrate, new icons have arrived on Switch Online.
Many of you should know the drill by now. All of these icons are available exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online members. It’s 10 Platinum Points per character and 5 Platinum Points each for backgrounds and frames. Once you claim an icon, you keep it forever even if your Nintendo Switch Online subscription ends.
Drag x Drive is almost here, and to celebrate, new icons are now available on Nintendo Switch Online. Both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch owner can grab them now.
Characters and backgrounds are currently available based on the game. For the former, it’s 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo. Backgrounds go for 5 Platinum Points each. You’ll always be able to keep them, even if your Nintendo Switch Online membership ends.
July 16: It’s that time once again: a new Nintendo release comes with the latest set of icons on Switch Online, this time for Donkey Kong Bananza.
The first set is now available, lasting until July 23. Nintendo Switch Online members can spend their Platinum Points on various icons on a weekly basis. New icons will go up every Wednesday (Thursday for those in Europe) until August 13 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.
August 5: Starting today, Marvelous is kicking off a weekly video series for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar that will introduce the eligible marriage candidates for Story of Season: Grand Bazaar. New ones will be going live on a weekly basis.
Twelve bachelors and bachelorettes are in the game. First up is Sophie, “whose devotion to revitalizing Zephyr Town is as infectious as her smile, get to know her likes, dislikes, and see more of her charming personality on display.”
Today, Powerbomb Games unveiled Pro Jank Footy. The title will be releasing on Nintendo Switch sometime in 2026.
Pro Jank Footy, an over-the-top arcade comedy-sports game that can be played alone or with a friend. The game has over 200 power-ups, “absurd abilities”, and more.

Valkyrie Initiative, along with FoxusSexus, today shared the news that HMUR will be appearing on Nintendo Switch. A release window is still being decided.
HMUR is a first-person shooter featuring a mix of “Soviet aesthetics with whacky madness and frantic dynamics of iconic 90s shooters.” Players will need to survive a disaster at a classified Soviet facility while facing hordes of enemies.

Deathgasm: The Video Game is will be released on Nintendo Switch following a Kickstarter campaign.
The campaign was previously held not just for the game, but also for a graphic novel and merch. The $6,600 goal was easily reached, with funds surpassing $30,000.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land just made it to Switch, and players can take advantage of several Present Codes. When registered in-game at Waddle Dee-liveries, they provide a variety of different items.

Apex Legends was only just announced for Nintendo Switch 2 last week, but it came out yesterday. We now have a first look with a bunch of footage.
Compared to the experience on Nintendo’s previous console, Apex Legends looks to be significantly improved on Switch 2 from a technical standpoint – which is to be expected. Other outlets should be taking a more in-depth look, but it runs at higher resolution with smoother performance.
Otherwise we have confirmation that mouse controls are supported with the Joy-Con 2. Gyro is included as well if you prefer that.
The latest Minecraft update is here with version 1.21.100. Xbox Game Studios and Mojang Studios issued the patch on Nintendo Switch as well as other platforms.
